trying to think of a cheaper, shoddier example of a blatant licencing grab. someone with deep pockets put this rickety, ramshackle piece of dinner theatre on Broadway for the sole purpose of making money on tours and regionals. i'm sure the geriatrics in Topeka will love what of it they can stay awake for.

It's not! That makes you guys look like you're gleeful about it. It's the relentlessness with which you make jokes and mock the show. Ultimately, a lot of people put hard work into it. I’m never happy about people being out of a job, but I am happy that at least there’s one less painfully lazy and poorly written show occupying a theatre.

They took longer to toss the harpoon than I thought. I gotta admit they do have nerve. I surmised it would’ve died faster than Kelli Barrett’s character

Yeah. It seems she’s falling into the “getting Shoshana Bean’s sloppy seconds” part of her career having succeeded her as Elphaba, Jersey, and now Cee Cee.

Many actors have had this happen - Nathan Lane was concerned he’d be typecast in Zero Mostel’s old roles after winning Tony’s for FORUM and THE PRODUCERS

This really will go down as an example of bafflingly inept producing. Just poor judgment all around.

And the writing team. They only included one song from the movie after they were forced to.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

This is such an iconic song, but I just can’t help but feel like it does not highlight Vosk’s Incredible voice. Maybe it needs to be in a different key or something? If this was Glory of Love, it would’ve brought down the house.
