I never wish any show out of business, may they run forever if they can.
Yet it is unreasonable to not criticize an inept product that comes with such a high price tag.
Consumers have the right to their opinion, and this isn't being cruel to a little girl's lemonade stand. The Broadway prices are quite cynical and the criticism should be expected to be just as extreme."
Don't worry Blaxx, Trash won't say anything negative to you about your incredibly reasonable and sensible post, just mine 😂

At least that would be more interesting than this Garbage Fire of a musical. Vecna just floats through the audience until he reaches the stage just killing everybody with some sweet special effects. I'd go!

Going into this knowing it was supposedly bad made me not hate this, I think. The show itself is bad and the cast did everything they could with the material, but it was a treat for my ADHD-riddled mind the way the book jumped back and forth.
I’m still trying to figure out how everyone at the airline counter knew her song, though. She didn’t seem very famous at that point in the plot.

Blaxx makes their point without being cruel and mocking the heart poured into it. I used to be like you, Sutton. I used to think I was clever and funny for all my toxic takedowns of shows I didn't like. I'm glad I realized I wasn't.

This seems quite simple to me. The security at the theatre need to answer some questions, and DO THEIR JOB.
The person who did this should be banned from all Broadway theatres.

No one in this (had to be relatively small) group noticed this rando following them and being in the dressing room until Vosk said something?

How did they even get down the alley and once inside? I thought it’s closed off now.
I would ask Jessica’s friends first and the guard. I would of turned and been like who are you ? Mmmmm odd indeed

This show has been using the doors on the 44th St. side, next to the main entrance so seems they would have walked in that way.

Very lax stage door personnel. Throughout the decades I’ve visited actor friends backstage at their Broadway shows and I was always called up. Even at stage doors where they already knew me, they called up first then allowed me to go up to their dressing room. They didn’t just let me go up just because they knew I’m so-and-so’s friend. I’m also baffled no one in Vosk’s friend group noticed this rando walking up with them and walking into her dressing room as well. What was this? A group of 20 people? WTF.

I read a news article about this incident and maybe I am remembering the details wrong, but I thought I read that the group of people were visiting someone else and once the fan got backstage, they took off from the group and went looking for Jessica's dressing room. However, I'm not sure why no one in the group noticed a stranger walking in with them.
EDIT: Sorry, now I see where Jessica said they were in the group visiting her.

went to the majestic wiki to see what had been there before phantom and i didn't realize Midler herself had had a residency there. seeing this poster again unlocked an ancient video store memory:
Almost fifty years later and she's back at the Majestic, kind of!

Should have closed this past Sunday. Now the cast has to show up on a holiday weekend when there's nobody in the audience.
