You do sometimes miss the actors who are not actually in the scene. There are very brief moments where you cant see the actor that is talking. I'm talking super brief moments that last one line. You do also miss some of the timeline signs (which really should be centered. It's dumb that they aren't)
Now the crux of the seating issues: the problem with these seats is that you miss a lot of facial expressions. Most of the scenes involve just two actors, who face each other. So you can see one actor's face and the other actor's back. Also the turntables are clearly meant to be viewed head on so I think from the sides your view gets blocked by another actor.
Left vs right really probably wont make a difference. Some scenes I couldn't see Hiddleston's face but I could see Cox's, sometimes the opposite was true. If you want to see Hiddleston perform the lunch scene (which is probably his biggest one) you'll need to sit house left, but you will miss Hiddleston in scene 2, which was a wonderful scene.
I also think those issues would be the same even if you were sitting in the full view seats left or right. This production is probably best viewed from as close to center as possible in order to see the most of the facial expressions. And they are important, a lot of the play is silent and revolves around watching the actors faces.
Also, there is almost no rake in the orchestra. I had a guy in front of me who probably wasn't really very tall, but he was at least taller than the women on either side of him and I had to do a lot of head bobbing to see stuff.
Finally, the seat was absolutely worth the 37 bucks. Just know what you are getting for that price. And like I said, I doubt D6'S experience was much different than mine and she probably paid 5x as much for her seat. Yeah she may have seen an actor standing dead still on stage left, but she couldn't see Hiddleston's face during the lunch scene, either.
Edited to add: the view from my seat site wont be too helpful for this production, as before the show starts the stage is a black void and blends in with the black walls on either side of it"

I did originally have mezz A28 before switching to orch D8. I personally am glad I switched just because I think so much if the acting was done in silent moments and I really loved being close enough to see facial expressions (when they were facing me). I think for me the acting would have had less of an impact from the mezz. But I almost always prefer orch to mezz and in my hometown touring venue I always sit in side orch.
I honestly kind of wish I had time to see the show a second time from the opposite side to experience the acting I missed. I would honestly rather pay 75 dollars to see it twice than pay 170 to see it once from a better seat.

Thanks, that makes me feel better about sticking with D 8, and going back to see it from the other side is a great idea.

I was in the fourth row. There were 6 seats but the furthest one to the right was empty. The theatre was otherwise full (Iegimately didn't see any other empty seats in orchestra) so I'm not sure if maybe that's a seat they just dont sell for whatever reason.

One of the reasons I chose seat D 8 in the first place was this pic from SeatPlan, which, while it doesn't exactly show the view for Betrayal, gives a good idea of the viewing angle and distance from the stage.

I do think it’s important to be close as the facial expressions were so powerful to express their emotional pain. I was in the very front row. Middle section. To the right. It was a great seat.

Thanks so much for the detailed seat breakdown of D8! We have D8 and D10 for a show in October and I feel a little better about it now after those early reports (though I am still debating an exchange).

I just sat in orchestra I19 in house left, which was also not marked as partial view, but there were definitely times I couldn't see some of the actors. Most of it wasn't a problem since it was usually just the actors who weren't in the current scene, but as mentioned before, Tom Hiddleston in scene 2 stands really close to the edge of what I was able to see, and he's not angled toward the audience at all so couldn't see much of him there. My friend sitting next to me in I21 couldn't see Tom Hiddleston at all for the majority of that scene.

I have two tickets in row bb, orchestra, last two seats in the row, 101 and 102. My question is, am I going to be too close to the stage and looking up the whole time or the whole stage not within view.

That's exactly where I was. Great seats! There was one scene with Jerry and Robert where Roberts back was to me but besides that seats were wonderful.

I ended up getting a $25 ticket (Row I, seat 20) for a performance in September. The seat right next to mine was $159. I can't imagine the view will be that different from that seat. Can't wait to see the show.

I sat in D8 at today's matinee. I usually splurge for good center orchestra seats, but I took a chance on this one at $25 with the thought that I would get a better seat for another performance if I found D8 to be unsatisfactory. In the end, I was happy enough with the seat. I concur with most of what angoradebs wrote. I really didn't feel like I missed much, and it's great to have that proximity to the actors. As angoradebs stated, the most significant thing you miss is Hiddleston's facial expressions in the lunch scene. But it's worth noting that his profile is in silhouette on the stage wall, and I was able to get a read of his expressions from that. I also think that many of those seated on the right side of the center orchestra probably were mostly seeing Hiddleston's back in that scene. So, there was nothing especially problematic about D8 with respect to that scene, even though it was not ideal. As to the projections of the timelines, I believe there was only one projection (possibly two) I couldn't fully see, In short, it's a reasonably good seat, and, for $25 (plus fees), a great bargain.

I lucked out last Wednesday when I saw it.
Purchased a $25 ticket, far right, row C. At 8pm, in an effort to fill in the front mezzanine, they had us move closer to the center, and had groups from the rear mezz move down. So I paid $25, ended up with a $150 view.

How is the leg room in Row A (side) of the mezzanine?
And is the consensus that seats Mezz seats 25 & 27 are generally better than 26 and 28?

A25 is perfect. Decent leg room. I’d say you miss 5% of the show, if you can even call it that. So worth the $25.

I honestly don’t see how they’d be any different. Sure, you see a few backsides but most of the speaking is done out to the audience or from a place on stage where you can see the actors. If someone was completely out of view, they weren’t involved in the scene. And there is nothing (literally, nothing) on stage other than the actors and a few chairs. I think A26 will be fine!

Pretty sure I had A26? I was first row the Mezz all the way house left. I too was nervous, but it's a fine seat especially for the price. The only thing you'll miss is in the 2nd and 3rd scenes you'll miss someone talking, but can see the other person, so at least you get to watch their reactions, and those people eventually come into view, so it's totally fine. And they project the timeline on the front of the stage, so you'll see everything. And not to give parts away, but there are different elements that make the space smaller, etc, so it's a great view. I would have liked to have seen the full stage pictures - of the other actors in the background, but honestly after the first 2 scenes I was so into the show I didn't much care, ha.
Oh and I'm 6'2" and found the leg room fine.
