Wow, this has to be the best reviewed show of the year!
Too bad it's from last year. I guess the press is setting up Mr. Pryce for a Tony nomination. Well good luck to him.
I just hope it keeps this delightful show running long into the future.

The way I understand it, there aren't nominations for the new category, up to 2 winners (1 male, and 1 female) are simply chosen if deemed worthy.

Wow. Great reviews.
Mylinda Hull is getting a lot of LOVE. I knew this girl would go places, I am so happy for her.

Kidmanboy,
I believe you are right, but I'm choosing not to remember the guidelines because THEY ARE SO STUPID. I like the idea of the category, though. We'll see how this evolves over time.

This is great! I get to see DRS in April so this makes the trip even better.
If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....
Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

Brantley's an awful critic. I'm sorry. How can he not like the book and score of that show?
The nice review for the cast was a plus though!

I was there last night because I won the lottery! I was wondering why they got big bouquets of flowers at the end of the show...

I attended the 3/8 mat, and completely agree with the raves (it was my fourth time seeing the show, first three times with OBC) and was extremely excited to see Pryce. He was fantastic! Jonathan and Norbs seem to be having the time of their lives up there! great chemistry... Well deserved raves.
also..funny thing happened at the end of Dirty Rotten Number, after they toasted each other, Norbs hit the glass on the side of his chair and spilled his drink all over his lap, and they were both cracking up so bad, it was great.
PS....during intermission I spotted Clive Barnes in the isle, notepad in hand.

Does anyone know how big the crowd for lottery has been lately? Is it easy or difficult right now to get lottery tickets at weeknight performances?
"I thought that that was just going to be a like one shot deal for me, you know, but they kept talking about it like, 'when we do the production, when we do the production', and I was like, 'yes, yes, when you do the production, cool, I will come and see it'". - John Gallagher Jr. on SA

Jonathan Pyrce certianly looks the front runner for best replacement with these reviews, for sure. Now if only Greg Jbara can get his rightful nomination this time >.>

You know I love Greg to pieces, but what would he be nominated for? I think his shot came and went last year.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

Yeah, Mamie, I know. Its so shocking that he didn't get nominated. Especially since everyone raves about him (with good cause of course).
