They'll be doing 4 come September. I think their best schedule would be Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 2pm; Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:30pm."
I agree that's a great schedule for them but would AEA allow it?

It's not just a matter of Equity allowing it -- it's every union. And no -- they would not allow it (at least not without monumental premiums and O/T added on).
Will Swenson was on a podcast with Ramin the other day and he said two shows in one day were really hard on his voice. He takes Wednesday nights off, but the 2-show day is difficult. He uses a gravelly voice to mimic Diamond's and I suspect that would be a non-starter from his pov.

From the outset, Nick Fradiani was already the scheduled alternate for Will on Wednesday nights"
Nick's been going on for another show lately. He was on this past Sunday and has gone on for a second performance lately. Wouldn't be surprised if Swenson cuts down to just 6 performances a week and Nick gets the Saturday matinees, too.
