They really need to announce Jeremy's return to Gatsby. Ouch.
That’s quite the drop for “The Outsiders”
End of Broadway Week took a toll on the grosses as expected.
Happy trails to JEFF ROSS: TAKE A BANANA FOR THE RIDE, Taye Diggs, Jinkx Monsoon, Kumail Nanjiani, and Michael Urie.
That's a pretty, pretty good start for RAGTIME.
Remember that Alicia Keys herself appeared at HELL'S KITCHEN for two post-show encore performances, hence the bump.
Mira Sorvino is doing nothing for Chicago's grosses.
I'm surprised MAMMA MIA producers aren't trying to find a way to stay put through Summer.

Except that Taye Diggs left the show quietly about 3 weeks ago and, with Christian Douglas still limited due to a concussion, they needed to call Dylan Paul to come back and cover Duke and Christian since Jack was stretched thin and Aaron C. Finley left on the 21st. All the marketing in midtown had removed any trace of Taye before his final performance.
RAGTIME is shaping up to be a huge hit from the jump. I can’t imagine they won’t extend at the rate they are selling, but the other musical revivals (MAMMA MIA, CHESS, BEETLEJUICE) may siphon off from that.
Mira Sorvino clearly hasn’t done much to bump sales at CHICAGO.

I assume they saw a bump for Brody Grant's final weeks.

Will Mincemeat really hang on until February (especially with the usual post-holiday drop off come January)?
I am so happy that Buena Vista Social Club continues to do well. When I saw it (twice) at The Atlantic there were so many skeptics about it coming to Broadway. Good for them.

I’d welcome a Mamma Mia open run with open arms.
and I’d assume Six will find its way to New World Stages eventually.

I hate doing this, but anyone have any predictions as to what could be closing soon? Aside from limited engagements

I think Six, which has had pretty shaky numbers all year, is likely most at risk for closing by the end of the season.
Stranger Things is not even remotely at a sustainable place- it frankly has never been- and I doubt the upcoming series finale will help it.

I started a thread asking this but didn't get a response. What contract is Mamma Mia on? Are they still on a tour agreement or do they switch contracts? What would happen if they stayed for longer? If they're on the tour agreement, do they get housing for an extended stay?
These are ROUGH.
55% capacity for Mira Sorvino. A $239K tumble into the red for Harry Potter. SIX dips below $500K. Dangerous drops for Gatsby and The Outsiders. Stranger Things continues to operate on the fumes of corporate hubris alone.
January could be a particularly brutal time.

Isn't this just the national tour doing a 6 month sit-down on Broadway? Only way they could extend for a long duration would be to recast the entire Broadway company.
I wonder if they’re trying to get Pamela Anderson back for Chicago asap.

Pamela Anderson has Chicago to thank in a lot of ways for her comeback, and I think she’s beyond it at this point. If anything, I could see her originating a role before she’d return to Chicago.

I partially agree with this. She speaks fondly of her time in CHICAGO and how it helped her get to a better place in her life, and also made friends during the run. She might want to go back since she can command a higher salary and because it brought her a great deal of joy.
Honestly, if she had the energy and comic gusto, her doing a stint in OH MARY would be inspired

I think Hell's Kitchen (despite the pop up in sales this week), Gatsby and Mincemeat are the most likely January closings while I'm also keeping an eye on Six and & Juliet.

Moulin Rouge and sadly Outsiders should be watched. Outsiders grosses are wildly uneven and needs a pop- both shows lost over 200 this week.
BobbyBaccalieri said: "I wonder if they’re trying to get Pamela Anderson back for Chicago asap." Indeed. Sorvino's first week was promising, but now. That is a very steep drop for Chicago. Either Pamela Anderson or Ariana Madix could help improve the grosses. My heart goes out to Mira Sorvino.
