Can't speak for anyone else, but I did know. (Not off the top of my head, I had to think - which is why I was late!)

Congratulations to all the HQties that won 98 cents and bragging rights tonight! I thought most of the questions were pretty easy... but then came q.12 and I did not see Hamilton... and well... hanging head in shame. Still, super nice to see Broadway get its night!
I was a millisecond late on answering the Flowers of Algernon question, I was guessing between the second answer (I don't remember what it was) and Tomorrow.

Completely agree with everything you said (minus the winning lol). I messed up on Q12. Was between the two R&H shows, but I picked wrong. Panic mode struck. With more time, I couldst found my way there. Funnily enough I just saw Hamilton (for the third time) last week, so double epic fail on my part. I downloaded the app a couple days ago, especially be cuz I heard this was the theme tonight, and to lose really sux, less missing out on the money, more the loss of bragging rights.
First time winner here too!! Honestly I thought it was going to be harder. The Charles Strouse answer was the only one I thought was actually challenging.

I was also a first-time winner! Hoping for many more. The Flowers For Algernon question almost got me, but I took an "educated guess" and was pleasantly surprised.
Likewise, I also guessed correctly on the Flowers for Algernon question. That was just luck. I hate the musical Oklahoma, maybe that's why I didn't correctly answer Q.12. Fortunately, not too much teasing from my brother and niece who play in Washington state. For HQ newbies - you can adjust your friend settings so you and your friends can see how you each answer the questions.
I hope they do that again also - that was a lot of fun. I stumbled on the Flowers for Algernon question, but fortunately I had an extra life so it didn't kill me.
I downloaded this app Specifically because of this post. Of course, that was the one night this week that I had plans. I hate I missed out on it. I did however win my very first try last week. A whole dollar 30 something. But it was fun, it would be more fun without the host though.
Anyone play tonight? I got out at the Diane Keaton question. Absolutely had no clue what the answer was and chose Goldie Hawn

You were not alone Jorge. I played tonight. Did not know ahead of time that it was going to be another Broadway game! I knew Keaton was in Hair (pays to be old sometimes). I got the Oliver question wrong, used an Extra Life... and then ANOTHER Hamilton question at Q. 12.... and once again, I got it wrong. Hamilton is my downfall. Why, oh why, have I not gone to see it?
I thought Scott was very funny. I enjoyed his Broadway medley and the fact he messed up with "soundtrack" and self-corrected to OBCR. That was such a Broadway World thing!
I looked quickly at some of the winners... one of them was something like BroadwaySommelier... surely that person is on this board?
I played tonight as well (not knowing it was Broadway themed either). It was definitely trickier than the last Broadway trivia night, but I was one of the winners!
The OLIVER question was tricky! That's the one that got me.

I was playing a game and saw the notification that it was Broadway trivia 30 seconds too late and missed the first question. It sucks, because I looked at the questions after and I would have won (and I know I would have had to use an extra life on one question, but I knew the answer to the rest of them). Oh well, hopefully they'll actually say when the next Broadway trivia is so I can be aware (like how I know tonight is Harry Potter and I'm going to make sure I've available to play at 9pm).

That's the top prize this Monday night on HQ at 9 p.m. EST. The prize is in honor of the live broadcast of RENT. The theme is Musical Trivia. An actor from the TV musical is expected to be on the show.
