Maybe we’d actually get some pathos instead of empty histrionics.
Not in a Frecknall production, we won’t.
There's too many new & more interesting shows opening. I'd be surprised if this lasts until July 6.
Maybe if they got somebody like Kit Connor who is as popular as Elizabeth Taylor or The Beatles.
Just joking!

Hot take but this is why I loved Maude Apatow's performance (to be fair I have only seen other performances from this revival online). She delivered without over belting or screaming and I thought she played Sally as a scared young woman bluffing her way through things. Of course Mason Alexander Park was the highlight of that pairing, but I liked Apatow.
I think Eva Noblezada would be fantastic.
I'm a millennial and I'm going to admit I had no idea who Orville Peck was until now, but I looked up his stuff and be seems very capable.
Both are now confirmed, they begin performances March 31 and conclude their brief run on July 20.
Officially Peck & Noblezada starting 3/31.

Eva Noblezada truly stays blessed, booked, and busy.

Eva essentially doesn't get a break after HADESTOWN. She'll likely get off the plane and head right to rehearsals.

16 weeks isn't that brief at all.
Well, it is a shorter run than the previous two Emcee/Sally pairs will have had.

I have wanted Eva to tackle Sally since I first saw her in Miss Saigon. I anticipate she'll give a sensational performance.
Not familiar with Peck, but am curious to see if the mask comes off or not!!
I already booked and blessed myself. There was a table seat available for $99 so I snatched it.
I LOVE the idea of Peck. I’m willing to tolerate Noblezada. She has never been a performer that has truly wowed me in anything, even though I acknowledge she is talented. Maybe Sally might be the one to change that .

This role fits Eva like a glove. I will happily go back to see her as Sally.
So are they doing all the shows ? Website is not updated

Did someone really think this would sell tickets?
“ There was a table seat available for $99 so I snatched it.”
Just FYI, that may be an ADA table.

I’m aware. I have ADA needs.
Was just flagging since I saw somebody scream at ushers that they had to move from that table when they clearly only purchased them because they were cheap :)
Enjoy the show!

They are both draws so........yup.

As someone who vowed not to give this production another chance but intends to buy a ticket to see them, it worked on me.

I saw the production in London and disliked it. This is the first casting that has made me decide to give it a another chance on Broadway. Ticket booked for April!

I care more about interesting people playing roles than doing cosplay as a producer, so I welcome anything that doesn't scrap the bottom of the artisic barrel like Erika Jayne.

WTF? Your words are gibberish -- what are you trying to say? Ushers were sitting at a table and someone screamed that they had to move but someone else (maybe the ushers, maybe not) had purchased them because they (the seats or the people) were cheap?
Ushers were absolutely not yelling at people who purchased those seats because they didn't have visible accessibility issues, that is opening the production to a lawsuit. It was likely not their seats and someone else bought the seats and were trying to sit there. Never assume a patron is in the right. Customers are usually assholes, 99% of the time when it reaches to the point of yelling at staff for any reason.
