With the acknowledgment that nothing has been officially announced, many "confirmations" have seemingly popped up from actor's facebook or twitter accounts. Do we know what those are?

ANTYHING GOES --> "Anything Goes"
HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING --> "Brotherhood of Man"
SISTER ACT --> "Raise Your Voice"

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Really Anything Goes? You are killing your own title song.

On TV, hasn't Anything Goes only performed that number twice? Then the press release, which included other songs as well.

That being said, I wish they did "Blow, Gabriel Blow"

There's already a thread discussing ANYTHING GOES' choice. I really don't want this thread to turn into comments on choices or speculation about what is being performed, just a listing of any valid choices of performance selections.

It's kinda sad that with today's media onslaught, I've already seen those numbers several times ... on YouTube, BWW, the Today Show, etc.

Why even watch the Tonys anymore when the casts do the same numbers they did last week and the week before for other programs?

Hairspray did You Can't Stop the Beat on TV a few times (at least one of the morning shows and the Vogue Fashion Awards) as well as on the Tonys. Didn't "kill it" at all.

Anything Goes (the song) shows off the star, the tap-dancing AND repeats the title of the show over and over again. Seems like a good choice.

I'm guessing CATCH ME will be doing 'Live in Living Color' or 'Jet Set'.

Book of Mormon is smart to have kept their score quiet until last week.

guesses for some others-

Catch me: Live in Living Color- its catchy and fun to look at
Mormon: You and me (but mostly me)- showcases both leads, doesn't give away too much

How to Succeed should be doing "Grand Old Ivy."

If Catch Me were smart, they'd do "Don't Break the Rules".

I agree, Kad. I was thinking Catch Me would do "Don't Break the Rules" since Norbert is the Tony-nominated actor from the show.

I kinda wanna see Catch Me perform Live in Living Color, but I'm sure they'll do Don't Break The Rules.

I think BOOK OF MORMON will probably do "Hello." It would be a great way to open the awards, and it introduces the leads.

"Live In Living Color" is the best, most exciting, catchiest song from CATCH ME. They're probably going to do it. A great song is better advertising than your nominated featured actor.

I thought the reason why the CATCH ME cast didn't perform "Live in Living Color" or "Jet Set" on TV and opted to do "Don't Break the Rules" instead because of the way the choreography is staged.

Both "Live in Living Color" and "Jet Set" required the onstage orchestra set-piece in part of the song's choreography and "Don't Break the Rules" doesn't. Nonetheless, I enjoyed all three of those numbers. It was an AMAZING show.

I wouldn't be suprised if MORMON did 'Man Up'. It showcases Gad, who seems to be the frontrunner from the show. James & Rannells have solos in it, and both the Mormon and Ugandan ensembles sing in it. It also doesn't spoil the ending like "Tomorrow is a Latter Day'

I sort of assumed Book of Mormon would perform a medley of Hello and Two By Two featuring the cast of Mormons, the leads, and not give away too much plot. The numbers are funny, upbeat, feature some choreography, and none of the lyrics would have to be censored (like that ridiculous choice from Spring Awakening).

I agree that I do not want to see "Brotherhood of Man" again or "Anything Goes" especially since they were the performed on the awards in previous years, but the TONY awards are all about marketing. The productions caught our eyes months ago with "sneak peaks" using some of these numbers and got us excited. Now, it is their turn to do the same across the nation, or world depending on who is watching. We might be bored with it, but people in Iowa or Arizona or wherever will be booking their summer vacations around them.

All American Prophet makes the most sense to me for Book of Mormon, but Hello/Two by Two would be my next guess I could definitely see that.

I can't be the only one thinking the medley loving South Park creators will have The Book of Mormon perform a medley at the Tony telecast?

Its too bad Priscilla won't get to perform....their ultra-flashy numbers would've been perfect for the Tony Awards. Though we may see a bit if them in the opening number if they do a medley of the season's big shows as in past years.

If BOM doesn't sneak in HELLO! as the official opening, or at least have it featured as part of the opening sequence, I will be flabbergasted. Generally, when there is an "obvious" opening number available from a current show, that seems to be used. My guess is it might start with the original version and BOM cast, then turn into an "adapted" version appropriate for other casts, and eventually, the host. But, maybe a production number of this sort is only the thing of Tony Award telecasts gone by...

According to that same article (today's Riedel in the Post), Scottsboro Boys will be doing Commencing in Chattanooga and Go Back Home, Sister Act will be doing Fabulous Baby and Raise Your Voice. Priscilla may be do a number as well.

Surely we'll get something from The Scottsborro Boys. Even if they just get Joshua Henry to perform "Nothin'"
