Saw this on Tuesday. I adored the first act. I was laughing and having a ball and feeling some serious nostalgia for that run of early 00s musical comedies, which I have such a soft spot for. Act 2, unfortunately, really lost its steam for me. It had some funny moments but otherwise felt like the show blew its proverbial load in Act 1 and had nowhere else to go.
Adored Megan Hilty - never knew the word "semester" could make me laugh so hard. Michelle Williams seems a bit lost when delivering lines, but obviously looks more confident when singing - though she sounded a bit weaker than I was expecting. I was surprised by those saying they could see the budget onstage as I actually thought the set looked quite cheap.
Glad I went, wouldn't go again. Maybe Happy Ending will remain the show I recommend to anyone who asks.

"Wicked the movie. I HAVE been changed for good!" Got a lot of applause.
Went to turn on the noon news here in Denver today and right before it came on there was a commercial for the show. I have been back here for over a year now. I watch local TV a lot and a few network shows. This is the first commercial I have seen for a Broadway show since I have been back.
Caught this Saturday afternoon and it was fun camp. It isn’t breaking ground and the music isn’t memorable but it’s great fun and Hilty is doing great work here.
I agree with the others that say the 2nd act felt long - it did to me as well.
I wonder which dancer(s) perform the staircase sequence. I think they should credit them specifically as it's such a crazy and well done bit of acrobatics.
I had a lot of fun seeing this. It's totally deranged in the best way possible and Hilty and Simard are just terrific.
If I had one criticism, I wish they'd give Viola slightly more to do or made her a bit weirder outside of her numbers. Williams is an amazing singer, I just wanted something a little more demented from her to match the rest of the show.

Thanks so much! Absolutely amazing work! He deserves all the accolades for pulling off something so crazy and making it funny and horrifying all at the same time.
Does Warren Yang also double Madeline in the fight in Act two? and does anyone know who the Helen double in this sequence is? I think it's Neil Haskell but could be wrong?

Williams is the weak link. Her vocals have moments of excitement. but. She's not much of an actress. The role could be better with a comedically solid singer-actress - but the show loses the "celebrity"-ish person. Maybe she sells tickets?

When I saw the show (multiple times) in Chicago, Warren did a little fall movement in his curtain call to let the audience know he played that part. I didn’t see that on Broadway.
