Same thing happened to me but I went back the following night and waited until the volunteers set up at the end of the show then just went in and bought it from the volunteer right by the doors.

Just a warning, that might be a lot harder today. I talked to one of the security guards earlier this week, and they're expecting hundreds of people to come to try to see the cast at the rope line, so they're bringing in extra guards and NYPD. I think it'll be much harder to just walk into the theatre than it normally would be.

Hi Kayla — that was my husband and I next to you and your dad! What a wonderful night, I’ll just never forget it! Thanks to this board for helping us get tickets to last night’s show and also helping making it possible to swap tix with another poster here so that my husband and I could sit together front row center! Still on cloud nine!
Regarding the signed playbills, I did buy one and I will tell you that the staff member that sold it to us told us it was the last day they were selling signed BC/EFA stuff; that person could have been incorrect, but just so some people don’t get their hopes up, know it’s possible they won’t have them tonight. Being Ben’s last show I’m sure they’ll do something special though!
Is there any chance that anyone on this board bought a signed playbill and is willing to sell it to me? I’m totally crushed that I didn’t buy one last night.

Ben’s missed line during words fail which Will helped out was adorable.
And during the line “I’m just glad to be your friend” Ben usually does this awkward hug thing with Mike but this time he went with a full face palm on Mike’s face and was wiping his face which was hilarious.
The last line of breaking a glove: “you’re good to go”, Michael Park said it in a manner that felt like he was bidding Ben fairwell on stage which just made me cry harder.
I was just crying my eyes out the whole time...... I saw Pasek&Paul but they were too far away, Michael Greif was really nice, and Noah was also there, so the last monologue Ben had (about another boy standing here watching the trees) felt like it was addressed to the next Evan Hansen which, ugh, I’m sorry I’m still a mess right now. I’ll miss Ben’s Evan so much, but I also look forward to his new projects.

What line was it? I saw this on Twitter as well and am curious.
I also heard there was a five and a half minute standing ovation to open the show. This didn't happen on Friday night but I wish it did!"
The line was when Jared says this doesn't even sound like Connor! And Evan is supposed to say "I wanted to show that I was like, a good friend, that I was trying to help him, you know?" But instead he just said "I just" or something like that and then kinda forgot and Will prompted him and he remembered. It was a good moment though, everyone onstage seemed to be laughing a little about it :)
And I definitely wouldn't say the standing ovation at the beginning was five and a half minutes, like it was one minute tops. It was amazing though, he cried lil bit during it and had to get himself together.
The show was so great though, I cried my whole face right off.
Agree with everyone and everything above- the atmosphere was incredible. For Ben's big numbers the applause went for at least 30/40 seconds each time and everyone around me (including myself) were balling their eyes out. You could feel the cast holding on the their last song with Ben and it was so special to be able to see. During So Big/So Small Rachel couldn't quite get through "and I did/ and I do/ and I will" and that really got everyone in my row going. They hugged extra long after, and the sniffling in the theater was so loud everyone laughed a little when they let go. Such a great night and an amazing experience to have been a part of.
It was a magical afternoon. The crowd was great, enthusiastic, but respectful. Lots of loud, extended applause, but not as raucous and uncontrolled as I expected. There was just a beautiful connection between the cast members, as well as between the cast and the audience. It was also a joy to see how the heightened emotions of the day added another layer to the actors' performances. For example, throughout "To Break In a Glove," Michael Park was fighting back tears, and I found it especially moving. At the end of the song, when he says "You're good to go," it was clear the he was saying it to Ben. I loved that. There was a lot of love in the room, and I think everyone could feel it. After the show, I met Justin Paul and Beanie Feldstein. Also spotted: Benj Pasek, Steven Levenson and Michael Greif (obviously), plus Anthony Rapp and Taylor Trensch, among others. Honestly, though, one of the best parts of the day was meeting a few of the members of this board: socjoc1107, bwaylistener, and katiegreentree. I was so happy to be able to share the experience with them, and socjoc1107 presented me with a custom made DEH Playbill, filled with wonderful letters from everyone who's been positively affected by this thread. I'm blown away by it all, so thanks to her, as well as all those who contributed to this gift.

Oh yay. I wanted to ask if you liked the gift but didn't want to spoil it.Thank you for making such a positive thread on here. I think you started a huge wave of everyone helping each other out and it was great to see people pay it forward over and over. Also so nice to hear the reactions of the crowd and cast during this last performance. Not sure how they made it through at all."
I loved it, thank you! Oh, and I also met TheGirlsNY in front of the theatre! I almost forgot that!

Thanks so much! Also, here’s a pic of the cast board after the show, with Ben’s name removed:
AMAZING! I am so happy you enjoyed the gift :) It was an honor to coordinate, and I thank everyone who contributed to the success of it - I could not have completed it without you!
I cannot overstate how much the story of DEAR EVAN HANSEN means to me, and I hold immense gratitude towards CT2NYC for making it possible for myself and countless others to see it (especially Ben's last show!). And while the musical is remarkable, my real experience from the show has culminated into this Playbill: proof that the power of kindness, especially to strangers, is highly contagious and does not go unnoticed. And it all started with CT2NYC and this thread – this is something that I will carry with me For Forever.
I was amazed how much love and admiration was in the room today. I second and third everything being said, both about the show and you all!
For me, the most heart breaking/touching part was when RBJ gave Ben that arm pat in SB/SS. Letting him know it's ok to go :)
And I agree, it is weird to know on Tuesday the show will go on. Similar to when you leave a job - everyone is still there, but you are elsewhere. *sigh*
So what happens to this thread now? Lololol I can't see a huge demand for last minute/cancel tickets yet for Noah.

By the theater, or an overzealous fansen?!"
I guess it wouldn't shock me if someone had stolen it, but Ben's name was in the middle, so it looks like it was removed, and the rest moved over to fill in the gap.
