LCT's virtual gala tonight includes (correct me if I'm wrong) never-before-seen B-roll clips of Flying Over Sunset and Intimate Apparel: https://youtu.be/4uv8NKVy7zo?t=4360

Intrigued by the brief glimpse of choreography. But why is it so dark? I wasn't expecting it to look psychedelic but the lighting and set design looks like a "serious play." I expected it to look more like Grey Gardens or War Paint.
Intimate Apparel looks more interesting to me. Loving the costumes.

Just when I thought it wasn't possible for me to be any more excited for this show, I watched that. Wow.

This would have been filmed during a dress rehearsal or maybe even tech, so there's plenty of time for changes to occur......
Just booked my tix too!!! Bought it from telecharge site and used my amex card so I get the $25 off.
I noticed that email delivery 14 days before and pickup at box office both had $3 charge. If someone else picks up the tix at the box office it's a $7.25 charge.
Before pandemic I believe box office pickup was free.
I believe the $3 is just the old handling charge, rebranded, and the total price isn't more than it used to be. Unless the tickets are less than $50, service charges for most shows on Telecharge have been around $16 per ticket for a while.
I really thought Members would have bought a lot of seats but there were hardly any sold, when they went live this morning. Is that normal? I was considering becoming a member for early access but if this is how it usually is, I’ll save my money.
What dates are you looking at? I was looking at mid January also for a friends birthday and there's tons of seats for all shows. Curious if they're maybe just releasing seats gradually for shows...?
Im so envious for those that get to see this show! A James Lapine & Tom Kitt musical about LSD is exactly the kind of interesting and bizarre thing that you could only ever really see premiere in NYC. Broadway is the best!!!!
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
I am looking at the week of January 9th and since they removed the first two or three rows, I wanted "front row" seats because I think it will be sufficiently far back. Not wanting to pay premium, there was a limited selection of those great seats available. I don't know where you usually like to sit, but I noticed how little non premium great seats there are in center Orchestra left.
But, they absolutely might be doing that through out the week.
My rich ass friend is a member along with her husband and she told me she usually goes to the box office days before a show and selects whatever premium seats she wants. It's never a problem. So, you are absolutely right, money talks and there are always great seats for members.
Plus there may be discounts the closer we get to the performance. I’ll admit I thought about waiting but given this is the first Broadway show I’ll be watching since pandemic started I was ok paying the stated price for the first preview.
