I have seen the show a number of times (only this version, not at the public theater) and I haven't noticed any projection ^^ you have referred to at the end. Have I just missed it? That seems like it could be a special moment..
At the very end of the show, after Alison mentions occasionally "rising above" her father, there was (is?) a projection of Bechdel's drawing of Small Alison playing airplane with him. Off-Broadway, it was prominently displayed on the back wall; on Broadway, I recall seeing it on the floor as I left the theater.

Thanks. I will be sure to pay attention next time...
Kind of a dumb question, but Gabby is listed as "Young Alison" on the production's website. Wasn't Sydney Lucas credited for everything as "Small Alison?"

Yes.

Interesting—the Playbill even lists Skeggs as Middle Alison, and the website lists her as Medium Alison. It's all synonymous, but is the lack of continuity in character names a little unprofessional?
unusual, sure...unprofessional? Not really.
One imagines the creative team has changed its mind on what to call them. The marketing team wouldn't just start changing names on its own, I wouldn't think.

Interesting. Using descriptors of age rather than size does seem more appropriate.

I actually thought I wrote unusual! Not sure how "unprofessional" came out. Yikes—sorry!
Lol!.

I don't think anyone answered this now-old question. Hoping someone knows? I'm treating my sister and her girlfriend to tickets in January, and really hope they see as many of the original cast as possible, especially Beth and Emily. Haven't bought tickets yet, so please let me know if you have any info. Thank you. :) -Sean

I'm imagining they decided calling attention to size works against them when young Alison approaches medium size.

I've read that contracts are up in March, so all should be there in January!

At what point are extensions typically announced? I was hoping to catch the show around June, but I might have to make a trip up sooner depending on the extensions

" Pretty sure everyone will extend, you'll probably just see newer kids. Oscar is getting really tall, Zell is fine so we'll see with him. Gabby will probably be there after March but can't guarantee June.

I heard that Gabby's is up in March and Alessandra is looking like her replacement. Not sure how accurate it is as this is secondhand information from someone who talked to Alessandra at the stagedoor.
Where did you hear that most of the cast's contracts are up in March? I'll be going at the end of March and hoping to still catch a majority of the cast!

This mentions that the lead actors' contracts expire in March, no word on extensions though
Interesting; is Emily Skeggs on leave? I would've thought we would've heard if she was actually gone for good:

She's on a short hiatus. I don't remember when it ends, sometime in March I believe, but she will be back.
update: Just looked, and Lauren will be playing the role until March 13, then Emily will return.

For the record, the website says "Small Alison" and "Medium Alison" again.

Anyone know how long Michael Ceveris is scheduled to be in it? I'd like to see him in it in March, is he likely to still be in it then?
