I don't believe he's announced anything yet, so I would assume he will still be playing Bruce in March!
Awww. Oscar Williams is set to leave the production in late March. Great kid.
Wonder if this means anything for any other cast members...
Oscar tweeted today that he will be leaving on 3/27.
Happy trails to him! He's had a good run with the show. I saw it recently and he's getting very tall, so I'm not surprised he's leaving soon.

I saw the show in early July and in early February. My impressions:
Gabriella vs. Sydney
I liked Gabriella much better in the role. She's more believable to me as they younger version of Beth and Emily/Lauren and her rendition of Ring of Keys rang more true for me. Sydney seemed a little old and too girly.
Emily vs. Lauren
They were both good, though Lauren seems physically closer in size and appearance to the real Alison Bechdel. The performances were remarkably similar IMHO.
Oscar Williams
Same actor both times, but he seemed to have grown a lot taller is now about the same height as Judy Kuhn. It's time for him to move on.
I overheard last night who Judy Kuhn's replacement is. Since its not been announced I don't want to say, but she is a 'singing Steppenwolfian'

"Singing Steppenwolfian" -
hmm, not too many of those.
Sounds like Sally Murphy to me.
Underrated actress, very right for it, good choice.
Do we think Cerveris is leaving soon too...?

In the Fun Home understudy thread, Michael's twitter comment is noted: "Hey folks: you'll have a few more chances to catch Jim Stanek as Bruce while I am away doing some filming on March 1-2 and March 8-15."
But he gives no indication that he will be leaving...

GAH I have been wondering who her replacement will be! Not to sound ignorant, but what does a 'singing Steppenwolfian' mean?
Someone who's done shows at Steppenwolf?

A member of the Steppenwolf Theater Company in Chicago that also is a musical actor. Most actors there do not typically work in musical theater.
Sally Murphy seems like a good guess. What about Martha Plimpton? I've seen and heard stranger things. Her style is very different from Judy Kuhn...

Oh thanks! I didn't realize it was a company in Chicago. I really like both Murphy and Plimpton so I'd be fine with either!
Probably won't be Plimpton as she is starring in a ABC comedy that is about to premiere.
REBECCA LUKER!

Ummmmmm this is terrific news! LOVE Rebecca Luker!
She will be great in that part. Good for her.
Important to note: she will only be in from April 5 through May 22, taking over temporarily for Kuhn who it seems is having surgery.
Yep! More details here:

“This hip surgery is something I’ve needed to do for a long time,” Kuhn said. “I’m so thrilled that Rebecca is stepping in for me – she’s a dear friend, and I admire her work so much. And I can’t wait to return to the show pain-free and with a new hip!”
Excellent choice!!
I have to imagine (unless there's some other project Luker has down the pike) this will work similarly to when she replaced Victoria Clark when Clark did THE SNOW GEESE. She'll probably replace Kuhn once she exits for good.

There are replacements and then there are REPLACEMENTS...wow
Can they re record days and days with Rebecca?
