You know spring on Broadway is almost here when every day, there's a new previews thread
Previews for the new musical Groundhog Day begin this Thursday, March 16 at the August Wilson Theatre! Featuring a score by Tim Minchin (of Matilda fame) and starring two-time Tony nominee Andy Karl, the production is set to officially open on April 17, 2017 for an open run.
I have 2 free tickets to the opening tomorrow that I cannot use. Anyone that wants them, FOR FREE (obviously), can message me and I'll transfer them, yada yada yada. Upset I can't make it but don't want the seats to go empty. They are in the center front mezz.
Turns out I wont be able to make the show tomorrow because of the snow, pft. If anyone would like them shoot me a pm, I can transfer them to you via ticketmaster!

I'm going Saturday! Coming from Illinois and am super excited. Unfortunately I have four extra tickets, paid face value of $99.50 and now I am trying to sell for less. PM me or mail me at snicketmom@yahoo.com if anyone wants to make an offer. I'd love to get $75 each at this point, Unfortunately they are physical tickets, so I'd have to meet you somewhere after I arrive Friday afternoon or Saturday before the show.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I wonder if they'll restart from the beginning.....and then stop due to technical difficulties....then start from the beginning...then stop due to technical difficulties...then start from the beginning.....
:)
(if they pull the show tonight & invite people to a future performance. maybe they can turn this bit of irony into some brilliant marketing?...)
