There's a bit of a platform for the stage and then stairs. Action is constantly flowing around so mind your legs. By the way, there's a small table in between seats BA 7 and 9 that's not shown/in the wrong place in the various seating charts found online. "

You can see the table that MX888 mentions separating BA 9 and 11 from the rest of the row.  They look like great seats. Though I might worry about tripping up the actors if they cross in front there often.

As far as stage seating goes, in my opinion all of the table seats are overpriced and overrated. I honestly feel that if you want the experience of sitting onstage, the way to go is with Banquet seats, as close to the center aisle as possible. I've already stated that it appears to me that the two best Banquet seats are BC 21/23. This is based on my view of those seats from the orchestra. I'll let you know what I think of them when I see the show from those seats at the end of January. But if you're intent on table seating, my advice is to avoid any table seats upstage of Pierre's Salon (TH, TG, TE, TF, TU, TD, TA, TB, TC). They really shouldn't even be called stage seats. They're just one short step up from the orchestra level. You won't even feel like you're sitting on stage. And definitely avoid TC 1/2. They're awful seats! They're pressed up against a side bar that's opened before the show and during intermission, and you have a wall of people's backs obstructing your view of the stage. I imagine that seats TH 3/4, on the opposite side of the stage, are equally as bad. And again, to repeat what has already been stated by a number of folks, if you don't mind forgoing the novelty of sitting on stage, the best seats are the first row of the front mezzanine. I went up to the mezz during intermission to check them out. The front row center mezz seats give you a phenomenal view of the stage, the staircases, and the front of the orchestra section. And they're priced the same as the onstage Banquet seats.

Wow,  I am totally confused now on the seating.  And I've been there already!  I wish I had paid more attention to the various options.  I remembered though that people in the upholstered seats seemed to have an advantage as they swivelled.  That in mind, I bought these seats for myself and friends for April - Stg rt Sunkn tavrn sb Row SB seats 1, 3, 2   I thought they'd be good, but now I'm questioning my decision.  Has anyone sat in these yet or can comment?  This will be the first Broadway show for my friends and I really wanted them to have a great experience.

I think you'll be very happy with those seats, ACiN. They're directly in front of Pierre's Salon, on the stage proper. You're sitting at more of a bar than a table. You'll definitely feel immersed in the action, and you'll have a pretty good up-close view of Groban for much of the night. (The bar seats on the opposite side of Pierre's Salon (SA 1,2,3) would give you an even better and closer view of Groban.) And as the chairs swivel, you won't have to crane your neck as much to catch the action happening behind and around you. Although, the seats are sunken, so you may find yourself craning your neck a bit looking upwards. I still feel that all of the onstage table seats are overrated and overpriced priced, but, that said, if you're going with table seats, those are probably among the better ones. Others who have sat in those seats have said they wouldn't have traded them, so that's a good sign. Enjoy the show, and let us know!

I was wondering if SA would be better too.  I will call tomorrow and see if I can change it.  If not, I'll still be happy.  Thanks for confirming this for me - you're a wealth of information on the seating for this show!!

After seeing the matinee show, I would feel bad for anyone sitting in orchestra that misses all action happening on the mezzanine.  Tons of movement and stuff happening up there!!

You're absolutely right!  I was in Orch and I had NO idea anything was happening in mezz.  But there was lots happening in Orch too so hopefully everyone's experiencing something at different times.

For this show, front orchestra are the least desirable seats. If you're sitting too far up front, you not only miss everything that's going on in the mezzanine, you also miss most of what's going on in the orchestra behind you. And the first row of the orchestra is so close to those slightly elevated upstage table seats, that you have a wall of backs directly in front of you. When I was taking my original table seats, the awful TC 1/2, I thought to myself that the only seats that would have been worse were the first row of the side orchestra, directly behind my seats. If you're going to sit in the orchestra, go for seats further back and as centered as possible. But, personally, I'd avoid the orchestra section altogether.

I sat rear mezz, row D on the side on the aisle and absolutely LOVED my seat! We had a little table next to us, and could see pretty much everything (unless things were happening below the mezzanine hang, but if they were, they were not integral to the plot, cause I missed nothing. I also didn't feel that left out. Cast members came up there a lot and I ended up with both a peirogi (which was delish) and an egg shaker.

My hubby hates actors interacting with him, so I took the aisle and he sat in the seat next to the table and no one even tried to interact with him.

Just starting to scout for a couple of tickets for early June and I'm considering getting two tickets in the front row of the Rear Mezzanine (A8 and A9).  They seem very centered and even have what I gather to be a table to one side.  I'm sure the Front Mezzanine would be better, but they are out of front row seats on the night I want (aside from those on the sides - Section 1 and 4) and to get more centered would mean picking the third row of the Front Mezzanine. Such as C1 and C2.

Anyway, just curious as to any advice in choosing between Front and Rear. I like the idea of sitting front row center of the Rear Mezzanine, unless there is some reason I should avoid those particular seats or that particular section.

I *highly* recommend avoiding the lower stage right tavern, tables C B and A.  I sat at table A last week and those were the most overpriced seats ever (and I've bought Hamilton resale tickets, so that says a lot. :) ).

We couldn't see SO MUCH.  Every time the spotlight shone on anyone stage right, it was directly in our eyes to the point that I found myself turning away and shielding my eyes.  Anything that happened in any of the upper state areas was utterly lost to us, because the low nature of the lower stage tavern tables means that you cannot see above....at all.  I honestly feel like I missed half of the show because our seats had such poor visibility.

If I were to go back, I'd aim for as close to the front of the mezz as possible.

We're in Center Orch, Row P, which is the second to last row, I believe. Would you all recommend switching to the front mezz or another area, if possible, or will this be a good view?

Freaking myself out a bit - we have stage seats for tomorrow that I haven't seen anyone mention in this thread but are near the tables everyone is complaining about. They are the Upholstered Armchairs in section Lower Stg Right Tavern row SC seats 4 and 5. Anyone sat here or similar?

I sat in the upper stage arm chairs and from where I sat, they looked like great seats. Much of the action takes place right in front of you.

Section SE, Seat 3 here. Upholstered Armchair. Dead center. Groban literally sang to me for the entire show. Incredible!

I saw the show at the Wednesday matinee, and cannot stress enough how good the less expensive seats are.  For this design and staging, rear mezz is actually almost preferable: you will see everything, and it will feel immediate. I was in row G, on the side, and felt as close as I have to any major show, in far more expensive seats.  I paid $79.  I offer this because I was able to get them relatively late -- 1st week of December -- and they were remarkable.  Anyone who has to wait months for some ideal seat should reconsider. The show is spectacular from above, the extraordinary lighting effects, the focus, everything is available and immediate.  Don't wait. And you'll pay a reasonable price in 2017.

I won lottery tickets for tonight. They were second row, rear mezz on the left. I could see everything. 

(Didn't love the show itself, but they seats in the mezzanine are great for this show.)

So the onstage seating price has dropped for my date and am going to try and switch my seats. Which would be better, BB  Banquettes seats 2 & 4 (1 & 3 are also available on the opposite side) or the Tavern TD seats 1 & 2. Thanks for any help!

Edit: There's also plenty of banquette seats available above me, but was thinking that closer downstage would be better.

See my above post. I would avoid the TD seats at all cost. They're really not even on the stage proper. Just one short step up from the orchestra floor. You'll have a wall of people's backs obscuring your view of the stage. I'd definitely go with the banquette seats. If you can get more centered seats in rows BC, BD or BE, I'd go for those over the far left or far right BB seats. The banquette seats are raked, bleacher-style. Each row is higher than the one in front of you. So, you don't have to worry about having heads in your way.

They're better than good. They're excellent! If you don't mind passing on the novelty of sitting on stage, I'd say they're the best seats in the house.

I am only 5'1" and typically stay away from the mezzanine. When I saw "A Bronx Tale", because of the brass railing I had to lean forward to see the stage (I'm sure bothering those behind me).  Would there be anything blocking my view of the stage in the front mezzanine at Great Comet.  Also if so, how far back would I have to sit for it not to block my view.  I have already seen the show from the orchestra but didn't venture into the mezz because I didn't know I would be seeing it again.
