It's the sixth or seventh row of the rear mezzanine. The computer monitors in the pic are in the front mezzanine, and the floor of the orchestra was built up, so pics on A View From My Seat are irrelevant.

That looks like the front row of the rear mezz and I also feel like the photographer is standing up. Go on 'view from my seat' and look at the photos from the rear mezz...you can't see any of the orchestra level audience."
This is obviously from a seated person further back in the rear mezzanine, and the dance floor is clearly visible. You're mistaken.
Bought our tickets right when they went onsale and paid…a lot for front mezz. But man was it worth every penny. And you see where all your money went which is great - this show is MASSIVE.
I didn’t see this off Broadway and have never listened to the music so I went in pretty blind. There were drag queens greeting people outside and purple club lights when you walk into the lobby which add to the “club” feel. Stepping inside the actual theatre you’re in studio 54, pretty much. I’m so curious to see the show from downstairs because a lot of action happens upstairs and moving through the crowd so it will be a totally different experience, even apart from standing the whole time.
THIS. CAST. Arielle, Jose and Conrad are maybe the hardest working trio on Broadway right now. I need to rush this one soon to see it again because it’s one of the best things and when anyone now asks me “what show should I see when I’m in New York”, I have a new answer for them.
Edit - all action happening downstairs is clearly seen upstairs as well, so there doesn’t appear to be any “obstruction” like that. When action moved under the mezz (which is rare), video cameras are capturing it and projecting it center stage.
How does standing room work? Do they assign you a specific spot for standing room, and if so, is the floor sufficiently raked for people in the back to see anything? I’m 5’0 and worried about not being able to see over the person in front of me if I got standing room - how has the production arranged the floor to (hopefully) avoid this problem?
I am SOOOOO excited to see and hear Lea do Just Ask Flowers and I think that'll make it worth waiting until she starts performances. But it's going to be HARD to wait until July 11th!!!
Rear side mezz was really rough tonight, but the screens helped a lot for certain scenes. It felt like there were some preview bugs being worked out where it felt like there would be more scenes that were supposed to happen on the screens, but didn’t.
Front mezz easily looks like THE best in the house for the show and I want to go back to experience that. That is where the magic will be. I feel like the floor really is not worth it after watching it in practice.
As someone who saw the production multiple times at the Public, I loved being on the floor. Just putting it out there.
Who sang “Just Ask the Flowers” tonight in Lea’s stead? Is someone credited as Aurora Aquino until Lea joins the show?
I also want to point out that the live musicians have not been added to the show yet. I’m curious when they will be implemented and how the show will change because of the addition of live music.

From what I remember at the Public (and it could be different on Broadway), it was pre-recorded. If you know the history, you will know when to expect this.
