I understand that makes it harder for them to get tickets, but god that is ridiculous of them considering it's totally within the rules.

"So silly. You can't get mad at someone who inconvenienvced their life by arriving hours earlier than you did. Entitlement is annoying. Like counting money that doesn't belong to you.

There Is a lot of discussion about the stolen phone. I was there with her when her phone was stolen she actually was sleeping parallel to the sidewalk at the end of my feet as I my daughter and one other person were perpendicular tucked up in front of the doors of the theater box office  all of our stuff was in the corner with us sleeping around it. She apparently laid the phone above her head on the sidewalk when she fell asleep. Anyone walking past could pick the phone up in stride and kept walking. We woke up to her in a panic over the phone. I did find it odd that there  were random parts to a phone case laying on the sidewalk just feet from us when we woke up but she said none of those were from her phone. She logged into find my iPhone from my phone and hers was off-line. I know she had gone to the police to make a report  and was going to see if they could check the security cameras from the other side of the street in front of the Richard Rogers. I can't imagine there's going to be much luck. She was quite active borrowing different peoples phones and trying to keep in contact with her parents as well periodically check to see if her phone was online.  I know she is on them this message board so hopefully she will give us an update if she found it.

^^^^ thanks, that makes more sense but very unwise to have the phone like that. I'm sure she's never going to do that again! At least it was only a phone and not a wallet. I wonder how it went offline unless it wasn't password protected.

The women I am following on twitter said 15 matinee tickets went out today! Though I saw on twitter that I think Leslie wasn't performing for that show.

Yeah but that was a given. Hopefully for her Leslie's back for the evening show. I imagine he is trying to do promo for his new album or something.

Whoever suggested that they do two stage door lines-one for people who have seen the show that night and one for people who haven't. I really wished they had done that. People got there at noon for stage door! I was not about to rush out of the theater just to be three deep at the end of the line. It was all the way down to the Les Mes theater entrance!

My friend and I live in FL and are actually thinking of flying up impulsively to try to do the cancellation line sometime in the next couple of weeks. I've been reading this thread and I know it seems to keep changing but I was wondering if anyone  has noticed a trend with the best day of the week or time to try it. Like whether matinees are better or worse, etc. If we could do this we would only get one or two chances to try, period. Thanks. :)

For Hedwig they put the people who aren't in that evening's show on the side away from the theater and thus reserved the side towards the theater for patrons who attended that day's performance. I agree that would be better but I heard at times a few members of the cast do not exit at stage door.

Looks like I'll probably be in the line sometime this week. The gf and I had decided to try to get resell tickets and even increased our budget, but tickets don't seem to be dropping anymore. And prices are just way too high. Maybe I'll see some of you there

Is anyone looking for a cancellation line buddy? I'm looking for someone to trade off Monday night/Tuesday night in hopes of getting Wednesday tickets for matinee or evening. Send me a PM if you might be interested!

Just a heads up, swapping in line is technically not allowed so I'm really not sure you'll be able to do this.

I seems like on matinee days, that people that want single tickets should buddy up with another person that wants a single ticket, in case they split the line. Does that seem true?

This should fine, when first person arrives Establish with others that you are getting 2 tickets, one for you and one for friend when the second the persons arrives both people need to stay for a significant amount of time 3 to 4 hours the other person can take a break and then return. This is not swapping 2 people 2 tickets so as long as one of you is always in line. If you get there Monday afternoon I would definitely recommend both of you being there by 4 PM on Tuesday in case they make you get into two lines. You could be lucky and get tickets for Tuesday night.

good luck!

Also both be there from like 5 am to 10 am cause that is when they take pictures of the line. Really up to the people behind you if its okay I guess.I personally wouldn't have a problem with it because it doesn't change my # in line.

I left a handful of times but longest was an hour and OwlandFinch left for two or three hours and then again for another hour and no one said anything. The people directly behind us including the line sitters knew we were together and asked about her when she left but I just said she was cleaning up and charging her phone and that was it.

Good luck!

Never a given but I think you have better odds getting all the originals on an evening performance.  Or a Wed matinee when they have the NYC school kids....

I walked by the cancellation line about 2:30pm yesterday heading to my Waitress matinee. Some of the people in front looked exhausted. I walked by again around 6:30 and those same people looked even worse. I walked 2 minutes to my show and was sweating. It was definitely hot yesterday and when I left the city at midnight it was raining and still hot so prepare to get wet tonight and tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice! If I get there next Tuesday afternoon by 5ish do you all think that will be early enough to get into the Wednesday night show? I'm worried about having to stay another night for Thursday I don't get in...
