Wondering how today's buying for "The Music Man" mightcompare?"
If I'm not mistaken, the Shubert box office was open for Dolly!, so I don't think today will surpass that.
Do you guys think the $109 are going to be atrocious seats? (I know they aren’t going to be the best) but would it be worth it to upgrade to the $159 (row F seats 10 and 12 are open on my dates)
Also, Bette Midler returning to Broadway in a big musical was like the theatrical event of the century. This one will no doubt sell out but I can’t see it surpassing “Dolly”.

I think they'll be fine. The mezzanine seating at the Winter Garden goes over even further than those seats. Here is the view from H 30:
Lurked on this board for years - wanted to thank everyone for their help. I got 3 seats - center orchestra - row P on the aisle for $279 each. Better than I expected. The same seats in row O are $399 each!!! Just an FYI for people looking at center orchestra :)

Weekdays as well. I bought a mezz row E ticket at around 8:30 for $175 including fees for a Thursday preview. I just looked and an equivalent seat for that same day is now $227 including fees.
Pricing aside, the thing that I find most egregious is how they only gave you three of the most expensive options for those who waited in queue right at 8am and then roughly an hour later, opened up all of the available seats at various (and mostly lesser) prices. It’s almost as if they were punishing the early birds.

Well, I got mezzanine E 2, the seat I wanted, at 8:15, then, when the seating chart opened up, I also bought mezzanine G 22, for a different date. So, win-win for me? Probably not, but I sure showed Telecharge who's boss!
Got Orchestra Row T, seats 1 and 3 for December 19 at 8! $229 each for those last few orchestra rows (probably marked up a little bit as it gets closer to Christmas). Super excited! I logged on at 8 AM, was pretty early in the queue, and went through three searches until I got those seats. Before, the cheapest they were offering were mid-orchestra. So if you took first offer you certainly got more expensive seats.
The center seats in row T are available and I’m trying to decide if it’s worth calling Telecharge to move just a few feet. Probably not, and if it’s indeed at the WG, where I am now will be a bit closer to the stage door side exit. :)
Thanks for all the updates! I’m glad it went smoothly for us all! Now...we wait a year!
That is the worst commercial I have ever seen in my life. You have no idea what’s happening, no time to read the words, and all you hear is a train. Horrible.
Oddly, early yesterday afternoon, by using the link that came up when you googled "music man telecharge," I was able to briefly access ticketing for 9/16 - 9/19/2021, so I knew that they'd be doing "best available," at least to start. I also poked around a bit, and figured out how to easily access mezzanine E 2, the seat I wanted. Sorry for not sharing it with the board, but I have to keep some trade secrets to myself!
My wife was really excited for this one and we’re planning a trip to NYC around it, so I went all in. Friday, October 23rd 8pm, orchestra center Row A (second row), dead center. $499 per but you only live once, right?
Right? Right?? Lol
In all seriousness, I am so excited for this. Can’t wait to see it in 13 months!
