Oh I wish I could take you up on it Tommy. Sadly I'm teaching today. That's a really sweet offer though!
Maybe you'll have excitement like we did last night. We were standing there waiting, and heard a crash. Someone in a Lexus SUV had backed into a Town Car~ or the Town Car went into the SUV...we're fuzzy on what happened. In dead-stopped traffic. After the crash we turned to see and the Lexus appeared to be backing up, but it could have just been trying to get off the Town Car. Much fun.
I would love to see the In the Heights matinee today (or any matinee), but I am at work.
There was that excitement at the lottery last night as well as the fact that Karen Olivo and Eden Espinosa were playing as well.
Eden Espinosa? What does Eden have to do with ITH? Confuse me?
I saw Karen playing.
And lest there be any suspicion, neither she nor the people with her won. This one appears right now to be on the up and up.

I tried the lotto with WannaBeaFoster for the Saturday night performance and we both lost. It was such a disappointment. The lotto was insanely crowded though.

Jordan,
That Lexus must have been built like a tank, cause it didnt have a scratch !! Both cars were there at 90 mins after the accident !!
Testing ~ Yeah. The black plastic stuff at the bottom was slightly cracked. Then again, his bumper was right at the level that the Town Car's grill went right under it. The shorter car almost always loses in a contest with an SUV. It's crazy!

sorry to bump, but its better than making a new thread. how have sunday matinee's been?
I went last Sunday on my own and lost, there were probably about 150ish people there
Has the lotto line died down? Thinkin' of going sat afternoon. Anyone been recently?
Still packed. I've tried twice in the last two weeks and lost both. But I ended up getting Partial View but it wasn't partial view, it was second row orchestra.
how much was your ticket, if you dont mind me asking?
60, it was a very good seat. It's not that cheap but it's still Half Price. Also always ask about Standing Room or other options.
Tried the lotto on a Saturday night about two weeks ago and lost. Around 150 people there, as others have posted.

How was the in the heights lottery been lately? especially on the weekends?
it looks like this-
Hee. (I think the pic is from the weekend before last)
Seeing the Show Without Breaking the Bank
I would have thought that it would have died down a bit now that the tourists are gone.
I love go to the lottery line there are many interesting people thier...its like blind date night
"I would have thought that it would have died down a bit now that the tourists are gone."
Well I think now that the tourists are gone, New Yorkers are coming out to see it. Plus you have college students from all over the city trying out for the same reason.
I have the worst luck with these Lottos, I never win! I never tried ITH but i have tried others and no luck. How many do they usually give out for each show?

so they do give out discounted tickets after you lose the lottery?
They have 22 seats. And they don't normally give discounts (at least when I was there) But I got great Partial View for 60 dollars. And they sometimes do standing room.
