It has been VERY crowded !! The Tues following the Tonys was insane !!!
The other nights have been very crowded. I believe (and I could be wrong) that there are 25-30 seats available.
Lin out tonight, but was still very crowded, and the show is sold out.

Crazy. I went with a friend for today's matinee. We both lost, which makes me 0 for 5.

He's not out a lot, he has been out maybe three time in the entire run. He has to do so much and he was sick.

As far as I know, "Drunk" is correct--- he has missed 3 shows
(maybe 4) since the show opened back in Feb. I would not consider that "so often"-

Isn't this like the second show he's missed since the Tonys?

He's been very sick, cut him some slack. He rarely misses a performance.

In that case, I hope he gets better soon.

Yes, he missed the last two Weds evening shows. Last week he was definitely sick, and I believe same is the case tonight.
He was not well the entire week of the Tony Awards, (as well as the few days leading up to Tony Sunday)
He has been doing so much promo that my guess is that he is physically exhausted, and that tends to lower your resistance.
He's only human.

Props to him for being so dedicated.

I walked past the lotto today, and there were TONS of people there. It must be impossibly difficult to win!

I saw the 2:00pm matinee on Sat. March 22nd and he was out. He still came and signed at the stage door and was so sweet! Lin did say he was sick and resting up for the 8:00pm show.
"Everytime you step on that stage it is somebody's first Broadway show and somebody's last Broadway show. Make it count."

Ugh, I was going to try for the lotto on the 23rd, but after reading these I am quite discouraged and will probably try another.

Crowded... yes? But, someone has got to win! It's worth a shot if you are in town, as long as you have a backup plan. There are so many shows you can grab a last minute student rush ticket to that if you lose you can head over to a box office and still see soemthing that day/night.
You have just as much a chance as anyone else standing there. I recommend putting your name in with about 5 minutes before the drawing, they don't seem to mix it up that well, and all for times I won I put my name in at 5:55 / 12:55. And the two people who got called before me I noticed entered their names even after me. Coincidence? Superstition? It's worth a shot.
Whenever I see a crowded lotto I think this, and it makes me feel better: I won lotto for Kristen Chenoweth's last in Wicked when there were over 900 fangirls in specialized t-shrits. I was there with my sisters, trying to do AIDA student rush. They had sold out so we figured we'd try Wicked, not knowing it was her last show. I have also lost RENT lotto, for example, when there were 36 people there and I was the only one who lost. It's all lucky, don't automatically count yourself out (or in for that matter)
Also, do you guys fold your papers or keep them unfolded?

I use the five minute technique, last time for ITH both of our names were called.

I tried last night and lost. I would say there were probably 100 people there. On my way back to Penn Station though I did stumble upon a movie set. Ryan Gosling & Kirsten Dunst were filming All Good Things on 38th. I hung around and watched for a while and ended up getting to meet Ryan. He was nice! Since I am broke, I will just have to keep trying my luck at the lotto....or get a sugar daddy/momma

SCBWannabee, try the "5 minute technique" as DrunkChita coined the term.

What time do you have to get there to put your name in?
How many can you get? 1 or 2 person?
