Yall. I am cracking myself up. I am not exactly “sober” right now wondering what everyone is talking about lolololol.
OK, JC. Pull yourself together.
ZARA MACINTOSH is who I was thinking of and meant to say. lolololol

this made me think of one of the two SIX alternates that left tonight without jobs lined up, but neither make a ton of sense... maybe one of the Satines...

Going off of this, Satine standby Oyoyo Joi seems to be the perfect fit for Juliet. and back to Six, Kristina Leopold made quite an impression, and I could see her being cast as well.

I wonder if Kim Onah could be leaving The Notebook so soon to return. Doubt it-Kristina would be great, too. Or possibly Kimber Elaine Sprawl, since she just left Wicked.

The replacement hasn't left her current Broadway gig yet. She's still there.

lol JC. Sadly I never got to see Zara Macintosh perform as Juliet. Between Lorna and Miriam-Teak Lee, both were great; I thought Miriam-Teak Lee had greater stage presence.
I'm also curious who the next Juliet will be!

Won't happen. She's about to release a new album and rumor has it she will be going on tour again. Also, she would make &Juliet the hardest ticket to get on Broadway if she were to step in.

Maya Boyd — recently seen in Merrily We Roll Along — will be Broadway’s next Juliet.
Lorna departs on May 12, and Boyd begins on the 14th.

Oliver Tompsett is joining the company as Shakespeare from May 10 to June 16 only!

Bought a ticket the second I read the headline. He’s so so so so so so good as Shakespeare and I can’t wait to see him alongside Betsy.

Having an American Shakespeare on the US recording is so weird for me. Everyone else, it doesn't bother me, but Sands' Shakespeare was all sorts of wrong.

I’ve got a quick suggestion for the last moments of Lorna’s final performance today, straight out of the MTL playbook:
“Juliet, are you sure you want to be with me?”
”Of course I want to be with you.”
Congrats Lorna on a fantastic run!

From what I have heard, there were multiple mid-show ovations this afternoon, including a long one after “Roar.” A highly emotional affair from start to finish.
Beautifully delivered curtain call speeches by Betsy Wolfe and Lorna herself, who “passed the mic” on to Maya. The love and adoration this cast gives each other is palpable.
And how amazing to see that Tompsett’s still got it! I chuckled when he almost went into his closing London dialogue: “But for now, here with you — here with ALL of you — I got this feeling…”

Attendees today received a note in the Playbill encouraging mid-show standing ovations, but specifically asked everyone to stand after "Roar."
