I think his Jefferson will be inspired - his Lafayette will be interesting.

This is an unexpected choice, yet I am very interested to see how he does. I think he could be very good. I've never heard him rap, so I'm eager to see how he handles the insanely fast tempo of Guns and Ships, especially with a thick French accent.
I saw James in Bat Boy and Spelling Bee back when he was working primarily in the Bay Area. He is going to be HILARIOUS. I never would've thought of this, but holy crap.

From one hit right on to the next! I wish James as much luck needed!

WOW! I misread it at first and thought he was taking over for George Washington and thought... yeah I can see that. But then re-read and saw its Lafayette/Jefferson role... inspired!! I'm seeing it again in May and now really glad to be doing so.
Wow last week I just saw a video of Lin and James performing My Shot in its early incarnations! It seem like James was part of early Hamilton. So excited with this casting, I need to watch again this year!!!

He plays all performances -- but even so, do you really think he would sit out his last show?
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
