Can we throw Norm Lewis into the mix somewhere? Maybe as Javert? And Jenna Leigh Green as Eponine?

Ooooh, I agree with Will Chase for Marius!
If Percy Blakeney were in Les Mis....
Percy: Sink me! If it isn't Javvurt!
Javert: Zsah-vair, it's pronounced Zsah-vair.
Pecry: But it's spelled J-A-V-E-R-T Javvurt.
Javert: Repeat after me Zsah...Zsah....
Percy: Oh! Zsa-Zsa! Like the Gabor sister! Well I personally have always prefered Eva.
Javert: (Looks for gun)

Another idea for Eponine, Lalaine. She did play young Cosette/young Eponine on the U.S., and I think it would be interesting to see/hear her as Eponine. She has an edge to her voice that I think might work.
For Marius: Josh Young, liked him on the tour.
For Cosette, I have heard the current U.S. tour Cosette Leslie Henstock is pretty good.

How about Bruce Vilanch as Madame Thenardier? I know I would thoroughly enjoy it

I would love to see Megan Lawrence return to the role of Eponine. She was incredible; best I've ever seen.

You liked Megan Lawrence? I have to respectfully say I didn't like her on "Broadway on Today," I thought her "On My Own" got too whinny and dramatic.

I thought she was incredible. She is the only Eponine I've ever seen that truly moved me. As I said on a previous thread, it was as if the role was written for her.

Are they going to cast from scratch or just bring in the tour cast?

It surprised me that no one mentioned Patti Lupone as Mme.Thenardie? :)

I doubt Patti would want to have anything to do with Les Mis, or a part that small.

Norm Lewis has an amazing voice but I don't think he is right for Les Miz.
I wish Terrence Mann would come back.

I don't. True, his voice is divine. However, his characterization of Javert is just plain weird. And CREEPY.

Sanda, I'd have to agree with you about casting Kevin Earley as Enjolras - though, as you know, I'm incredibly biased.

Kristen Chenoweth as Gavroche, she's small enough.

I think Eden Espinosa should be Eponine. She's not staying in Wicked that long (until October I believe) and I read in a news article that it is her dream role. Although, if Lea Salonga wasn't PREGNANT, I would pay anything to see her sing On My Own.

Can Marc Kudish just do... something in it? Please? Anything? I don't really care what, I'm in love with his voice...

casting wish list:
Jean Valjean: J. MARK MCVEY
Javert: Robert Cuccioli
Fantine: Christy Tarr
Marius: Peter Lockyear
Thenardier: Nick Wyman
Eponine: Lea Solanga
Reason: J. Mark McVey was the reason I got hooked. I'd seen it before with someone else and didn't care for it. But, I decided to try it again and JMM was in the lead. His voice and his interpretation of the role blew me away! I was a Les Miz addict after that! I told friends of mine Les Mis was returning and one is ready to get a part time job to be able to come as often as she'd like IF JMM is JVJ.

"The upcoming Broadway production will use the physical aspects of the tour and will feature some current company members as well as performers cast especially for the New York engagement".~ Broadway.com.article
Keep in mind that Valjean & Javert will likely be cast with actors in the 40-55 age range, unless they bring back Colm (whom I have reason to believe will not be in this). That being the case...some of the actors/actresses you folks are favoring will not pass off as young enough for Eponine & Maruis whose characters are portrayed around the late 20's.
As I've said, it would be reasonable that Cam Mackintosh will cast the 2 male leads with selected performers first and work from that point in casting Eponine, Fantine, Marius & the Thenardiers. Again, just my view.

This bears repeating.
I don't get why people here seem to think this all comes with some kind of time machine, too.

Colm said many times that he wouldn't do Les Miz any more. Shanghai tour was his final performance.

Hoping for Randal Keith as Valjean. Also wondering what Stephen Bishop is up to. I saw him as Javert way way back when Sutton was Eponine and adored his performance.
