Just caught the show and wanted to share my thoughts! The chemistry between Jinx and Corbin was lacking, which made it hard to fully connect with their characters. While Audrey's voice was good, there was something missing in terms of that wow factor that makes a performance memorable. On the bright side, the facial expressions and comedic timing were spot on for Jinx, adding some humor to the mix.
Corbin's performance, although technically impressive, felt a bit robotic at times. Having seen a previous cast with Jeremy Jordan and Joy Woods, I couldn't help but notice the stark contrast in the overall energy and emotional impact.
Joy Woods managed to evoke genuine emotion in her role, unlike what I experienced this time around. Overall, an enjoyable show with standout moments but lacking the emotional depth I was hoping for.
Sarah Hyland just started her run this past Tuesday and has missed at least 3-4 shows already (yesterday and today)—anyone have thoughts as to why that would happen? Doesn’t sound like it’s a sickness issue based on what the box office indicated.

Hyland’s had a lot of well publicized health issues over the years. (Including two liver transplants if I recall correctly) Quite the trooper, and I’m amazed that she is able to attempt a live theater schedule like this. Modern Family modified their blocking, shooting schedule etc for her. Rough way to spend your teens/20s esp in the public eye. Hope she’s ok!

Eh. Whomever is taking over probably begins rehearsals on the 16th, so it would make sense to announce them that Thursday. I'm sure it's all been set in stone for quite some time and this show doesn't need to drum up business far in advance like others I'm sure.
Ellen Greene is in her 70s for crying out loud. Who would you cast as her Seymour? Or Orin? Mushnick?
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Would she be able to perform all the shows ? Her voice was exhausted at the second performance at city center, but let me tell you it was such a magical event.

The silhouette and the two clues (bloody hands, Hamilton reference) sure suggest Nicholas Christopher but he seems too mature/strapping for the part and hes IN Hamilton so I dont get it?
What would the "waiting for you" reference be re Sherie Rene Scott?
