I saw Maybe Happy Ending tonight and thought it was absolutely charming. Darren's acting is so impressive; he really sells it. I hope we see more of Helen after this show, as well. The set serves the story really well. The music is not so 'hummable' but also fit the story. The audience was very enthusiastic for a Tuesday night, and the mezz seemed to be sold out. I hope it finds its audience and sticks it out through the winter and spring.
This show is beyond amazing. So original and beautiful. Definitely one of the best I've ever seen. I'm hoping Dead Outlaw comes out next season so it can win Best Musical and Actor. Darren Criss is perfection.
I'll assume this is a good sign, but they released a new block of tickets through September 2025.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Yeah I hope it means they have some confidence that they aren't posting a notice anytime soon. I am headed back in May and am really hoping this will still be around then, though I am not super hopeful
This show is staged in smaller "boxes," in the middle of the stage. I was in the orchestra and a bit to the side and felt the edges of the set were blocking my view at times. This theatre almost felt too big for the way it was staged. Maybe that's why those seats are cheaper?

For those who have won the lottery for this show, where were your seats? Are they primarily balcony or other locations that are considered Partial View?

I won the lotto late last month and was in the Orchestra. Left side, Row K, Seat 23 and was labeled as Partial View

I had lotto seats for this past Wednesday's matinee and they were Orchestra Row C 12-14. Absolutely partial view, more like minimal view honestly. When Oliver's apartment was in the center all I could see was the door. I made it about five minutes before I moved to standing room for the rest of the show.

I think it’s way more hummable than anything that premiered last year

I won lotto on Tuesday 11/26 and was given seats right balcony row B seats 10 and 12. Not listed as partial view. When I did in person rush last week of previews I was given center balcony row J (last row) seat 101. Not listed as partial view either. I thought the view would be bad so I asked to stand but they didn’t let me, saying they didn’t allow standing yet but it seems they have opened it up this week. The view from last row balcony actually wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Definitely had to lean though, but I was so enthralled with what was going on on stage that I sort of naturally sat in that position regardless (last row so no one behind me, so didn’t have to worry about blocking others)

I won this exact same seat doing the lotto for last Tuesday. It was definitely partial view, but I'd rather have an orchestra seat than balcony so I was ok with it.

It might be a good sign but is it a good idea? They need to be focusing on short-term cash-flow right now...
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
Saw this today and absolutely loved it. I’ll see anything Michael Arden directs at this point because it’s all truly spectacular, but loved this show a ton. Criss and Shen are both great. Hoping for a cast recording soon to revisit the score.
I’m hoping for a cast recording too as the songs have been stuck in my head. Criss and Shen are the heart of the story, but I loved Duron’s crooner moments too.

The code HAPPYCYB works through February 16th

If it’s the HAPPYMAIL flier then it’s valid for all performances through May 25 with Xmas week being the only exception. Just have to book using the code by Jan 5.
I saw this show this past weekend and was really touched by it - moved, even. It's a sweet story that is easy enough to watch, simple enough to find a way to relate to, and clips along at a great pace.

Mailer I received today says the code must be used by 12/22.
