Wow - that looks incredible. Similar to the FROZEN trailer, it's beautifully edited. I love the image of Regina in all black with the black and white screens when she's throwing the papers.

I had completely forgotten both of the songs used in that footage were even in the show. And they were two of the “better” musical moments.
That being said, this is effective marketing because it moves so quickly through so much stuff, it almost makes it seem like it’s not a copy-paste job from the movie.

The best part of the show in my opinion. Loved the tonal shift of this moment.

For me, Taylor Louderman has gotten better (after being one of the hardest people to understand in DC). Ashley Park was hard to understand when she sings faster lyrics and when Barrett starts belting high, I have zero idea what she's saying.
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

The clip did not automatically play in HD, and the sound mix was pretty awful sounding in the standard. Switching to the HD stream helped, but I'm curious if that's how bad the sound mixing is in the theatre. The band and ensemble were completely overpowering the principals.
The sound mixing in the theater sounds as bad as it does on that promo. Its like the orchestrations are fighting each other half the time. The score is very clunky and messy.
The set looks as ugly on video as it did in photos. And the score oy vey.
So sad this ended up being so lackluster. Though I've never LOVED the film. Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen was a much more interesting use of many of the same tropes.
I like Wild Life way better than It Roars. I remembered WL right away and it had character. It Roars sounds like any song and I can barely understand Erika.
