Andy Karl is honestly perfect for Duke.
UGH, WHYYYYYY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME, ANDY?
I don’t wanna go back and see this again but now I have to. Does anyone know if Solea will still be in the show when he starts? Would be nice to see her, Andy and Boy George (I know, I know) at the same time.
Honestly, Karl is one of the few performers who could pull off both the film characterization and the stage characterization of the Duke.
(fwiw, I think the film version of the character is vastly superior)
I need to see Andy! I need those dedicated folks to tell when he'll be in and George will be out!

Hooray! I can't wait to see Andy Karl back on Broadway, where he belongs. I'd add that I've seen David Harris, on the road and on Broadway, as the Duke, & he's so sensational!

Boy George has pushed back his return date to March 28 due to a change in his schedule.

He should go ahead and cancel his return engagement.

If ''Moulin Rouge!'' is bringing back Boy George as Zidler, he must've done something right: either generating some P.R. or a bounce at the box office. A friend of mine saw him last year, and thought he was sensational, and has already bought tickets to see Boy George again.

Per an Instagram post on the last day of his last run, he actually got a perfect attendance award from the company - 113 performances.
Ironically, a longer run than TABOO (100 performances)
Andy Karl and Samantha Dodemaide start up at the Rouge tonight, anyone here going?
John Cardoza has just announced an April 13 departure.
If the rumors are true, Jordan Fisher would become the first POC Christian in MOULIN ROUGE!'s Broadway history.
John will have completed a full year as Christian between his time on the road and on broadway.
Fisher confirmed, April 15 — July 20.

THE AARON TVEIT MOLD HAS BEEN BROKEN!!!
It’s funny to see Solea and Jordan are practically playing the same parts from Hadestown.

Does he have the vocal stamina for this? Some of the riffs he was trying in Urinetown kinda failed and Christian is far more demanding. I suppose he’ll use the Klena keys…

Well, in Hadestown Reeve Carney and Patrick Page were playing the same parts as Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark...

Doesn’t really matter. Based on his now-legendary Broadway performance pattern, he’ll only be in a few performances each week. That voice will be well-rested until he blows it out again a couple of performances later. This is his performance pattern. At least he’ll give others the opportunity to perform the role regularly while he adds this show and role to his Broadway credits. It’s a win/win all around.

Congratulations to his understudies!
I just recently saw Jordan on Hadestown and thought he was absolutely fantastic and probably overall my favorite Orpheus. Not sure if all the shade about missing performances is actually merited, but either way, Jordan is an incredibly exciting casting choice for Christian in Moulin Rouge.

I don't get it. Why is Jordon in every show?
Is he gonna replace Nicole next?

I think it’s safe to assume he’s trying to break a personal record by having appeared in the most Broadway productions in a lifetime. I admire that.

Will Fisher show up each night? Based on his track record he’ll probably do 4 or 5 performances a week.
