Kind of a shame that the woman who offered $1,600 was denied because he decided to raise the bids in $500.00 increments and took the lower bid.

So the word is MR was going to announce a summer closing date but they were able to nab both Brady and Diggs for the summer. Odds are this now closes end of the year.

I noticed that Solea is another performer that seems to call out a lot as she's usually out 1-2 shows on average a week when you look back at shows not performing. She was out last night, both shows today and tomorrow. What's her deal?

I know WANTED (Formerly Gun & Powder) is in rehearsals for their Pre-Broadway workshop now. Does anyone know if Solea may be returning, or is Ciara Renee still attached? Looks like Solea recently did a press performance for them, which makes me wonder if she's rejoining after having departed post the Signature run. Could explain some absences.

Her absences tend to have a consistent pattern to them, usually it’s about a week at a time per month, although my friend (who is one of the dressers) said her April out was a vacation week (and Kevin Csolak was out of GYPSY the same time)

Is Solea going to be Svetlana in CHESS? The timing of her departure makes sense if rehearsals start late summer/early fall.

I saw it on Wednesday (having seen the show several times before) and thought she could be fighting/coming down with something. She gave it a valiant go but did get replaced after intermission.
It might just be that.

Direct from the show’s national tour, Christian Douglas is the next Christian on Broadway starting July 22.

Who know but for the fun of it , I checked understudies.org and she has missed 11 performances since June 1 just saying and 7 during May and a lot more for April so she can't always be that sick!

Liisi LaFontaine posted a birthday celebration during a rehearsal break for this- Solea was in it.

Theres no question her standby goes on more than she does. Ironic, since everyone has beat up on Jordan Fisher whose attendance has been as solid as it was in Hadestown.

Yeah, something is going on with her. She has missed many, many shows (far more than what was reported). She does like 2 or 3 performances a week at most, and has for a long time now. I'm not sure what is going on (she had a weekend of concert dates but no other public commitments) with her, but it's been that way since Jordan started. She started last Fall so it may be too much for her at this point but it's a little crazy. Disappointed to hear she isn't starring in Chess. I thought they would announce her in it after she was done with this show.

I saw on Instagram that Nicci Claspell was brought in with 2 hours notice yesterday to play Satine. She previously played Nini on tour, and a brief stint with the Broadway company late last year.
