I just watched an Actors on Actors episode between Mescal and Ariana Grande. A nice convo. He seems like a humble, very self-aware, and centered individual.

God's Creatures is good. Emily Watson as his suffering mother. Normal People too, of course.
Enjoy the play.
During pandemic October 2020, Paul Mescal, alongside Lucas Hedges and Grace Van Patten, did a livestream of Kenneth Lonergan's play "This is Our Youth." Not sure if there's a full recording available for viewing but there are snippets out there.

Not sure when it happened, but BAM added three Wednesday matinees (3/19, 3/26, and 4/2). Decent availability, but tickets are at the new higher prices.
EDIT: There's also an added Thursday matinee (3/13), which actually has a balcony seat available (as of 12/29).
I haven't been out to BAM in a while. I'm seeing a 3pm Sunday matinee of STREETCAR. About how long does it take to get back to the Times Square area by subway from that part of Brooklyn? I'd like to see a Sunday evening show, if possible. Most productions of STREETCAR that I've seen are around 3 hours long. The BAM website lists the running time here as 2:45. Is it possible to get back to midtown with enough time for a 7pm show?

There are a lot of subway options from BAM to Times Square. So even though you are going on a Sunday when trains run less frequently and there is often track work on weekends that ends up complicating subway travel, the trip is very unlikely to be more than an hour.
There are no available shows left. Sold out over a month before it begins.

Good for them! I'm glad I ended up joining BAM....which really worked in my favor price wise (both by getting to obtain my tix sooner and rec'd a discount for being a member) Still payed less than I was expecting.
Interesting that Othello with HUGE star power has not met with the same results, while not identical (similar length of run, only 200 seat [ish] difference, both costly) they have plenty of seats left especiall after the first month. And while I'm sure Shakespeare is scary to some, I would thing Gyllenhaal and Washington's names were easily overcome that. I'm sure that come performance time, the show will, inded, end up selling out - just an interesting comparison.
Today they released a fewf tickets on select dates for $250-$500 in orchestra.
I saw the matinee today in London and Mescal has only gotten better since the run at the Phoenix. He’s absolutely terrifying and perfect. Ferran on the other hand continues to baffle me, how she made it this far in a show, giving the performance she gives. And she’ll do her thing on the same stage Cate Blanchett gave maybe the best performance ever given by an actress in that same role.
I’m sure people will tell me im crazy when they see it at BAM but I’ll just never get it.

Is there a lottery or anything for this? I am doing an overnight in NYC and was going to attempt to see this, knowing it would be almost impossible, but thought I'd try

I've not seen any lotteries with BAM.

That's what I thought, but was making sure I didn't miss anything. Thanks
I got an amazing front row rush seat for Cyrano. If they do have the digital rush, make sure you familiarize yourself with snagging one before your date. It’s pretty tricky to get one.

My favorite was Gillian Anderson at the National. Enjoyed Blanchett too.
Streetcar is so sold the rush, if it occurs for this one, will be extremely limited - and for veterans, seniors (65+), students - all requiring ID's. They discontinue rush on some shows that are sold out like this is. I wouldn't bet on a rush or lottery due to its demand.
Cyrano had an online rush due to Jamie Lloyd Company producing.
There are a few ticket available starting at $344.50. That may be your best bet as this has been sold out for some time and the hottest ticket of the season.
Let's face it: Mescal IS the reason that most of the audience is flocking to see this - and if he's that good, it will buy a lot of forgiveness.

Yeah I am only there one night, and just found out recently, and the date I am there was already sold out. I didn't really think there was as hot at it, but thought I would check. I'm not too upset at missing out on paying that much for a ticket anyway

Jesus Christ. If people would just stop paying these terrorist prices, producers would stop charging them. But here we are.

Well it's definitely not for their set design! ;)

BAM has lotteries occasionally but definitely not for a sold out event such as this one.
You may want to try cancellation line day of performance.

1. Prices were not always this expensive. I got mid orchestra seats for about 110 each.
2. How much do you think scalpers are going to be re-selling the Tix for? That's how this crazy pricing started: people that had nothing to do with the show making a profit off of re-sale. Why shouldn't the producers be the ones to get the ridiculous willingness of some to pay it?
3. There will always be people that will pay prices like this - for just about anything. It makes them feel better about themselves for having the resources. It's not like the average Joe is spending this kind of money.
Would I ever pay this kind of money? Hell, no. But when Hamilton was in it's first year, I was pretty certain I'd "never" pay more than a hundred - a hundred twenty for a ticket - but now there are few ways around it. (And lottery/rush simply aren't something I'm willing to play with.)

Is there any chance of a brief extension? I have one night free in my late April trip and want to save it if I might be able to catch this.
Never say never, but I would think it unlikely. They have no reason not to have already announced an extension if it were happening since it is, for all intents and purposes, sold out and has been for weeks.
I'm sure Mescal has filming commitments to get to.

Not to disrail but Hamilton is still charging ridiculous prices.
