Barett Foa, Norbert Leo Butz (chatted w/ me for a couple of minutes when a lot of people were around) Sherie Rene Scott, Lisa Brescia (who by the time she got to me she'd heard I'd flown over 2000 miles to see Aida before it close) was a doll. Ted Keegan was great when I met him. Charlotte Crossley (of the Hairspray tour) was real sweet as was Keala Settle. The Spamalot guys (Christian, Hank, David, Michael) were real nice guys. Ana Gastyer was sweet as was Rondi Reed. These were the people who were exceptionally nice. Never once had a bad experience meeting performers though.
Kelly Karbacz: Just an all around wonderful, sweet person.
Sutton Foster: Hysterical, and so nice. At the LW stage door, I mentioned sending her a quesiton on the website, and she was like "Ohhh yeah! I remember you!" and just started chattering away
Will Chase: One of the sweetest guys ever. Seriously.
Mandy Gonzalez: When I stagedoored Lennon the first time I saw the show, Mandy just came over and went "Ooh, what book are you reading?" and started talking to me. When I went back after I saw the show again, she chatted away. Seemed kind of surprised when I asked her for a picture. Then, I ran into her one day as I was on my way home, and she was headed towards the theater. I waved as I was passing, and she stopped me to chat for a while (I had no intention of stopping, because I didn't want to be a bother). She asked me if I was coming to the final show, which I wasn't (And I wasn't happy about that), so we ended up talking about marching band.
Anthony Rapp was just wonderful, he was very nice to me, even though I was terrified when I met him. Ditto for Adam Pascal. He could tell I was shy, and just shot me a huge smile while I was waiting on line at the CD signing.
David Turner (from the ill-fated "In My Life") is a doll. My friends and I were talking to him at the stage door after we saw the show, and he told us how nice it was to see us in the front row, and was genuinely interested in chatting with us.

Rebecca Pitcher. Even when her parents were up to see her after the show, she took the time to look at my pictures from my high school musical I was in at the time. Such a gracious woman./

Nikki M. James, who was in All Shook Up. She took a picture with us and we had a great conversation. then, a couple of blocks down the road we see her walking back to the theatre and she gives us an enthusiastic "HEY, I remember you!" It was great. lol
I haven't introduced myself to too many, but John C. Reily was awesome. I just wanted to tell him last year how much I like his work (saw him after Streetcar), and he introduced himself and started a five minute conversation with me.
Also, he was on Broadway way before I was born, but David Hartman is incredibly nice if anyone ever gets a chance to meet him.
"I thought that that was just going to be a like one shot deal for me, you know, but they kept talking about it like, 'when we do the production, when we do the production', and I was like, 'yes, yes, when you do the production, cool, I will come and see it'". - John Gallagher Jr. on SA
Jenna Leigh Green seriously is the nicest person ever. She stayed with about 5 people in the freezing cold (after thanking us for waiting for her), signed every single thing pushed at her (even my shirt), took tons of pictures, and then gave us the backstage story. All while her friend was on the phone saying she was going to be late, rabid fans (5 people standing very calmly about 10 feet away from the door) were attacking her.
Gregory Jbara, though I didn't stage door him.. is so nice, the Greg thread has been done THRICE!
David Elder from 42nd Street was the coolest and nicest guy ever.
John C Reily was very nice after Streetcar
Liam was amzing after The Crucible. I also sat a row behind him when i saw streetcar and we chatted and he was very warm and intreasted.
Kristin and Idina were very friendly all 3 times i saw wicked.
sebastian bach after rocky horror was so friendly he asked us to go to the bar across the street with him and kept wanting to take pictures. Great guy.
Definitely John Lithgow and Norbert Leo Butz (I could barely get any words out to talk to him in San Diego but he was so nice! He shook my hand and signed my "Wicked" cd jacket.) I was too nervous to even attempt to speak to Joanna Gleason.
I didn't get to meet Hugh Jackman because he was surrounded by fans, but it was nice of him to go out and sign as many autographs as he did. He also waved to people from his car as he drove off. :)

Jenn Gambatese (she is such a sweetheart! i met her 3 times and she is nice enough to chat and take a picture) Cheyenne, Adam, Anthony Rapp, Brad Anderson (he was so sweet when i met him)
Mostly everyone i met at the stage door has been very friendly

Not so much a broadway actress, but Jane Curtin often shops in my bookstore and she is likely the nicest celeb I have ever encountered. She is a delight - so friendly, smart and sassy!
The top of my list must go to Felicia Finley- I have never met a more genuine, kind hearted, and honest person/performer. She never forgets to send a nice e-mail during the holidays and my b-day (her father and I share the same day, I guess it's easy to remember). I truly cannot wait for more people to become exposed to her work in Werdding Singer.
Also: Julie Danao-Salkin (a very sweet woman) Mandy Gonzalez (I always run into her in the subway, and she's a pleasure) Liz Callaway Alice Ripley (truly a hoot and such fun, had a great time at the 1st Rocky Horror Cast Party)
Have had the pleasure of working with Debbie Gibson (she still used that name when we were performing!!). I dont know how she is with fans, but she was truly a sweetheart to work with.
"All I want is the truth, just give me some truth!"- J. Lennon
I have to update my list to add Gregory Jbara too. After seeing him and speaking with him at the stage door at "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" a couple of weeks ago, I truly understand why everyone says he's one of the nicest broadway performers. He was just SO personable!
Here's my list: Sandra Joseph (really took time to talk with me after I saw her in Phantom, she's a sweetheart) Hugh Panaro (also just a great guy) Cheyenne Jackson, Jenn Gambatese, Sharon Wilkins, Alix Corey and the entire cast of All Shook Up (which I am still upset about closing; All of them were as friendly as could be and just embraced meeting the fans!) David Hyde Pierce, Christopher Sieber and Hank Azaria (Three very cool guys). Cary Shields, Destan Owens, Danielle Lee Greaves, Karmine Alers, Justin Johnson and all the Rent cast I met in May '05. Harvey Fierstein (Saw him in Hairspray in May '04, he remarked about my Southern accent and asked if it was my first visit to NYC, which it was)
Jenna Leigh Green, Hank Azaria, Matt Caplan, Will Chase, Antonique Smith.
I couldn't speak when I first saw Will Chase...he was my first stagedoor experience, so I just sort of gaped at him, and my friend was the one to ask if he could sign something. But then her pen wouldn't work, so while he was trying to get it to work by running it over his hand, I managed to find my voice (and my pen), and we had a psuedo-conversation. He was kind of in a hurry, but *very* sweet.
Matt Caplan came out last, and ended up talking to my friend and I for over 5 minutes. I may not like his portrayl of Mark, but he seems to be a great guy.
Grief does not expire like a candle or the beacon on a lighthouse. It simply changes temperature. -Nocturne
Adding: Julia Murney, Will Chase, Sutton and Daphne.
I mentioned Anthony already in this thread, but not in much depth. Not just a "really nice actor," but one of the kindest, most generous *people* in my life, actor or not. He has been incredibly kind to me, and I can not possibly express enough gratitude.
Ashley Judd James Woods (hilarious, a big flirt) Angelina Jolie (crazy, but cool) Matt Bogart Jessica Boevers Barry Bostwick Salma Hayek (an amazing woman) Ryan Philippe (a deep soul) Raphael Sbarge (such a sweetheart) Jodi Thelen Kevin Kline (very generous) Barbara Hershey Meat Loaf (unbelievably cool) Adam Pascal Davis Gaines (so sweet) Jacquelyn Piro
By far the absolute nicest are John Lloyd Young, Daniel Reichard, Peter Gregus, and everyone else from Jersey Boys. JLY especially is incredible at the stage door. He works his ass off onstage and takes a lot of time to pose for pics and talk to people.
