Chris Sieber was fantastically kind. He seemed taken by surprised when I asked for a hug. He was like shocked by my level of adoration and was more than happy to hug me and take a picture! Michael Cavanaugh was very sweet too.
At least 4 of the guys from Spamalot - Michael, Christopher, David, and Hank were incredibly generous with the fans at the stage door when I was there. Not only autographing everything placed in front of them but also spending the time with each fan for multiple photos and chats. Just really, really nice.
Add my vote to the others for Greg Jbara. Just a look at his cam pics on Wednesdays and Saturdays will tell you a lot about his nature.
I also want to add Bill Pullman to the list. This guy couldn't have been any nicer when I met him. He must have spent close to a half an hour with three die-hard fans out on a side walk talking about everything and anything under the sun. He was so generous and gracious with his fans!

ok you can stop being a sarcastic asshole about something that you werent even there for. I love how some people on this board are like "OK lets just keep going after somebody who gives his experience and doubt him at every step of the way, making excuses as to why he was treated like he was nothing. He was treated with incosideration and when he says that he was ignored, start making it seem like he was stupid for saying hi to somebody he had a lot of respect for" so do you feel like you want to stop being a bitch to me yet? you make it sound like i am wrong to think that it is normal to just pretend people arent there. its like im in a dream or something where its normal for people to be used to getting treated with no kindness or maybe i am just too nice in hoping that people actually respond to something nice i say. but hey you guys help me respect shoshana more however, you all make fun of me for what i say, while she just doesnt say anything at all! id rather that than be told off by a bunch of people raised to expect no manners from others
I feel like you're proabably taking this a bit too damn seriously....but many apologies for offending :) (that is a genuine apology by the by...sorry but internet forum psting is a very bitchy medium and people come off proabably a lot less humourously than they think....i am an excellent example. though i do still think i am pretty hilarious.) Also....that totally wasn't my train of thought...but good try. It was more along the lines of "I want a cookie."

B.D. Wong spoke at my college a few years ago. He was the opening speaker at this big, day-long event. His speech was really great and then he mingled with the students all afternoon. He couldn't have been any nicer or more down to earth.
But, when I was small child, I went to a screen of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I got to meet Gene Wilder, and he was as amazing in person as he was on the Screen. Magical (at least to a child). I just remember going up the escalator and him waving goodbye to me and saying goodbye to me.
I am not the startstruck type, but I remember it to this day.
I have not had much chance to meet folks from the theater, only from the movies. So, a bit off topic.
I think the nicest cast in the world award goes to Avenue Q for sure. They must have stayed at the stagedoor for 30 minutes....and they were talking to the same people...there were only about 10 of us there! It was so great...I was so thankful for them, they were so great.
Barrett was so sweet. He seemed actually surprised that i wanted his autograph and a picture. He was like, "me? nah." lol. So humble. So nice.
Greg's so nice too.
And Jenna was so excited at the Wicked Stagedoor when I started blathering on about Bare like a right idiot. She was like, "I'm so glad someone remembers!"
Jamie Lee Curtis Donna Murphy Kevin Cahoon Sarah Paulson Shawn Elliot Marishka Hargitay (sp?) Gregg Edelman Michael Cerveris Timothy Shew Bebe Neuwirth Julie White Daphne Ruben-Vega There are more I just can't think of them right now

Hmm... Greg Jbara, Greg Jbara and oh yeah, Greg Jbara. The whole cast of DRS I thought was nice, yes even Joanna, but no comparison to Greg. He just makes you feel at ease.
Darryl Ordell is super nice. He was in Rent way back in the day. He lives in California right now and one of the places he works at I go to all the time. He's really nice, btu he's been in New York for like forever and a yesteryear. He should be coming back to California really soon though.
Kerry Butler she's def the nicest person I've ever met. She was such a sweetheart. I met her before a show and she stayed and talked with me a while. I was so freakin excited haha
Kristin Chenoweth is an absolute doll. I also had a really great conversation with Adam Pascal. Other realy nice actors I have met are: Rosario Dawson, Anthony Rapp, Cary Shields, Marc Kudisch, Billy Crudup, Jeff Goldblum, Norbert Leo Butz
