Rosie donating 100k is inspiring and made me reach into my wallet-I know it’s been a long time since her original show and she’s had some controversial moments since, but the Broadway community has been so fortunate to have her as a champion!
FYI, Seth's show still happened at 9pm. I'll catch it tomorrow.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

She is! This was friggin' amazing! Such a gift on so many levels!!!! Especially on my 8th day of quarantine - - - and yes I am sick! But I'm okay! God bless!
A bunch of the guests talked about it, but I really don't think I would be as big a Broadway fan as I am without Rosie's show. My parents loved musical theatre and took me to shows, but in the pre-internet era, finding out about shows when you didn't live in New York was a much different experience.
I would tape her show every day and there were so many times that I went to my parents and said "we have to go see this!" I'm so grateful that Rosie's show existed and made it so I didn't miss those opportunities. This was a wonderful experience tonight and It's so nice to see the Broadway community come together for this fundraiser.
1 - Caught two references to Rosie's running gag crush on Tom Cruise, which I've always thought has aged rather strangely given what we've since learned about Rosie AND Tom Cruise.
2 - Did like the reference to her Koosh thing.
3 - Most importantly, what the HELL was with the t-shirt taped to Chenoweth's refrigerator?

I'm pretty sure its the music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell who works with Kristen a lot. She had a photo of her up (not a t-shirt tho) for something I watched the other night - i wanna say it was her living room concert with Seth Rudetsky and he asked her what the picture was and she explained it was Mary-Mitchell.

I think it was the scotch tape that was so amusing....it looked as though Jimmy Fallon’s energetic baby daughter had been hired to attach the shirt to the fridge.
Speaking of Sandi Patti I have always loved Hand On My Shoulder...

Amazing! It was such a wonderful show and reminded me that we sometimes take the importance of the Arts for granted. This was the first time in over a week that I laughed and felt good about something again. What a caring community!
This was delightful. Rosie is trluy remarkable. That was more than a show - practically a telethon without breaks! And Rosie kept it brisk and moving along and just delightful.
So thrilled they pulled in so much. One thing that's not discussed much is how non-profit organizations are going to suffer from having to cancel galas and fundraising events. That Ragtime concert may have sounded exciting to us, but it also filled a line item on their annual fundraising budget.
What an absolute gift Rosie and Erich gave everyone last night. I was glued to my couch for the full 3.5 hours. My favorite part was Brian Stokes Mitchell's reaction to Rosie announcing her $100,000 donation. Pure joy.
I love how engaged Rosie is with the Broadway community. She knew each of the guests and their shows intimately.
Adrienne's performance has me more excited to see Tina again with her in it. I had seen it with Nkeki. Jordan's performance was great too but it didn't make me want to run and buy a ticket to see him in DEH. I also wonder if his run may be getting extended since it was supposed to end in May.
Both Patti Lupone and SJP seemed hesitant about their shows coming back. Thought it did sound like rescheduling might be an option for Plaza Suite.
Excited about everything Alan Menken mentioned. His medley was awesome too. Maybe Disney Plus can stream Enchanted now.
I don't know who Miranda Sings is but I wasn't entertained by her. Her segment seemed a bit too long and unnecessary.
