Do they have some big names for the leads to go into this? That’s the only thing that I think would justify even a limited Broadway run of this show. Especially in such a huge theatre.

$$ off of concessions etc.

Musical-makers need to get over their passion for adapting 80's drek.  It was one of the worst decades for film ever.

I told you this was happening days ago. Is there something wrong with you - whichever profile you want to post under? Shubert has booked one cheap tour musical for the spring - into a giant house. THAT IS SHUBERT NOT BOOKING MUSICALS FOR THE SPRING! Two new musicals in their houses for the year. Both with tiny cast and small bands. Not a lot of jobs for the musical community from the largest theater chain. And don't put quotes around words I didn't say...that is not how quotes work.
