Might as well bring in The First Wives Club and make it a BOMB season! lol.

The only point of a Broadway run is to try and promote it to dinner theaters or retirement home productions.
Hahahahahaha. I love it."
The sets were actually nice. The musical uses the young version of the leads throughout the musical, so the story goes back and forth between the younger and older characters and their respective locations.
The costumes try to emphasize CC's tackiness, but the whole thing looks dreadful wardrobe wise.

This looks hideous. I'm asking once again, who do producers think is the audience for this?

I'm shocked Heathers hasn't announced a limited Broadway engagement at this rate.

They're thinking about next holiday season before the spring 2027 tour launch.

I don’t typically doubt a limited run making it to its announced ending date, but…

You’re crazy. This will break all box office records for The Majestic. It’ll be like when “Phantom” first opened with people lining up down the block for tickets, even though they can just get them online.

I feel like this has the potential to flop harder than anything in recent history...Tammy Faye and Versailles included...

My line between “I love seeing new shows fill the theatres” and “Are we in hell?” is getting increasingly blurry…

Yes, but I already feel bad for Jessica. Love her voice and overall attitude. At least she has another Broadway credit...right?

And a leading principal salary.

They need Patti as Leona.

24 weeks is a very long “limited” run! That’s more than double the run of recent flops like Bad Cinderella, Smash, Dead outlaw, Tammy Faye, Ohio, Swept Away, and Heart of Rock n Roll.
At least Titanique — similarly risky — only announced 16 weeks.
If it’s being jointly capitalized for Broadway and tour, that is smart producing. But the release calling out Crossroads Live as only the tour producer indicates to me that that isn’t the case.

This is probably just filler space until PHANTOM brings its national tour here next fall. The Shuberts don't want one of their barns to be vacant for over a year.

And with that, we now have enough eligible performances for the Leading Actress/Musical category to have 5 nominees.
Levy, Michele, Chase, Chenoweth, Bean, Vosk, Barrett, Mindelle, and Pitts

Yall really owe someone an applogy. All those crazy rumors were 100 precent true. Crazy season.

This must be what the end days of Vaudeville felt like!

This year may be the battle of the Elphabas for the Leading Actress/Musical Tony! Haha.
Would love to see Vosk become a Tony Nominee, or even winner (seems unlikely this season.)
I watched the youtube clip posted above, some of those costumes are unforgivable, specifically that Queen of Hearts costume with those unflattering shorts. Hoping it gets a new design team, but based on what others are saying, that may be the least of their problems.
