The sets were actually nice. The musical uses the young version of the leads throughout the musical, so the story goes back and forth between the younger and older characters and their respective locations.

The costumes try to emphasize CC's tackiness, but the whole thing looks dreadful wardrobe wise.

You’re crazy. This will break all box office records for The Majestic. It’ll be like when “Phantom” first opened with people lining up down the block for tickets, even though they can just get them online.

24 weeks is a very long “limited” run! That’s more than double the run of recent flops like Bad Cinderella, Smash, Dead outlaw, Tammy Faye, Ohio, Swept Away, and Heart of Rock n Roll.

At least Titanique — similarly risky — only announced 16 weeks.

If it’s being jointly capitalized for Broadway and tour, that is smart producing. But the release calling out Crossroads Live as only the tour producer indicates to me that that isn’t the case.

And with that, we now have enough eligible performances for the Leading Actress/Musical category to have 5 nominees.
