...why would you care? As you've told us multiple times, you only see shows via comps. Frankly, if I was located to the center of the art form I love more than any others, I would prioritize and support said art form.

And yes, ticket prices are out of control, but given your past posts, not sure why you would care.

I am relieved that I saw this play on tour a few years ago to remove any temptation to buy tickets to the Broadway version. It’s an enjoyable, quirky play, but I paid something like $30 to sit in the back of a small theater - in a location that costs a mint now. I just can’t imagine seeing some big names perform it would enhance my experience all that much. If anything, the anonymity of the actors - none of whom I had seen before - meant I didn’t have any other associations or expectations of them. But I suppose that is always true of these celebrity revivals.

Given the long stretches of silence during the play, I suspect some unsuspecting theatergoers will feel like they didn’t get their money’s worth.

I genuinely think the art form of theater is better supported by NOT buying tickets to this (at current prices).

I hope they use yonder pouches or something similar. A couple days ago Jesse Willians' shower scene from a couple seasons ago suddenly showed up on some guy "tube" sites.

It's also painfully obvious they're holding the best seats in the house.
