I wonder if they would Brightman with Liam Murrray Scott, who played the role in the West End and Toronto; Or just bump up a standby to finish out the run.
It’s possibly that Brightman’s Broken Shark contract wasn’t for the full run anyway if he knew Spamalot was coming during overlapping dates with Broken Shark. Say he’s only contracted through September 24th or 30th, he’ll leave just before Spamalot rehearsals begin in October. If that is his agreed upon contract, it would give Broken Shark reasonable time to get a new Dreyfuss before Brightman leaves.
I still don’t believe it’s Brightman. Why would they play this game the whole time just to end up revealing it was the same guy all along.
Plus, SPAMALOT was pulled together quickly and out of necessity due to Spider Woman getting yanked, so I can’t imagine Brightman was planning a long term run in a musical so quickly after Beetlejuice and especially since The Shark is Broken is already an exhausting role for him.
Nice work if you can get it and all that, but from interviews I’ve seen, it sounded like he really wants a break, but SPAMALOT fell into his lap and then SHARK during the SPAMALOT’s run, so I can totally see him finishing out with SHARK and then taking a break. It doesn’t mean he won’t join later on if they have someone for the short term (like INTO THE WOODS) since they are running through at least April and probably June

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I believe that they have a star for Lancelot till Shark closes if you look on Twitter someone part of the production team said …that a first Lancelot will open the show and stay unit Nov 19th until Brightman comes back…smart move…I wonder who it is

That's only a four-week run for a "star" to join a show.

That might be okay for a name who's just waiting out the SAG/AFTRA strike and they get an initial box office boost (though they'd probably want them through the thanksgiving holiday)
Also I believe they maybe doing a splitsies when Brightman is available so it won’t be his fully…again I am just guessing…it is what they did for Into the Woods…
They keep teasing “two,” which looks like it probably means two Lancelots, and this says "final knights," even though Lancelot is the only one left to announce:
It’s someone who’s played a prince or king before based on their Instagram clues (they put up 🫅 when asked for a clue and that’s the prince emoji; there’s a separate king one). These were the other clues: 🌃🏫🎭. And yes, it does seem like two people, so I supposed Brightman will be one of them. Honestly, this reveal is the only thing keeping me interested in the revival, and who they announce will determine if I want to see it or not. Brightman isn’t doing that for me.

Based on that clue maybe Snls Taren Kilam? He played King George on Broadway
I don’t think it’s Taran. I looked it up and 🏫 means school. So school, prince, starry night and theater? Is there a play that makes sense with those other things? I’m so confused!

Sticking to SNL, I think it’s Pete Davidson. They posted a meme of him (with John Mulaney) on Twitter, he was in a movie called “School” Dance and his more recent one “Kings” of Staten Island, and, of course, the night sky for Saturday “Night” Live. Okay, done now.

I don’t think Pete Davidson would have any reason to do this show. I also don’t think he would want to do a show with his ex’s current boyfriend. Pete is also on tour this fall with Mulaney.
Pretty certain it’s Taran Killam. He was on the movie night SCHOOL if that emoji is tripping people up.
