Rashidra Scott has been amazing in everything she's done. Congratulations! Hopefully she gets to go on more than Caroline did.

Good for her. Doubt she will ever go on unless it’s another vacation week.

Francis dominates the show. He’s an intense, self-loathing, vulnerable Joe. He makes the guy interesting, when I’ve often found him dull.”

Having seen Mandy, Caroline, and Nicole, I agree with this assessment. I continue to find Tom, Grace, and David to all be unwaveringly strong - I’m sure due, in no small part, to their extensive rehearsal and performance history with this production. And when a less-rehearsed Norma is thrown into the mix, it can throw the show off kilter a bit.

As phenomenal as this production is, much like Ebersole in GREY GARDENS or Erivo in THE COLOR PURPLE, the central performer is key here. Nicole is undeniably transcendent.
