He’s not.

I think I will wait until the first reports come out... inspired by two Buñuel films doesn't inspire confidence.

Was Patti LuPone offered this?

Do you guys think that the cast will be announced before the presale begins? As much as I wanna see this because it’s Sondheims last show I am dying to hear the cast

I would hope for that! Regardless of whether it’s maybe the day before the presale or the general on sale. OR can they announce it on the day of the general on sale so those of us who joined the membership can get our takes in advance before everyone else hops on the bandwagon last minute? lol.

Interestingly their communication is “The production is bound to be a hit, and we’re expecting to see incredible demand for tickets.”. Of course they’d say that. But I have a feeling it’ll come true.

Previews start Sept 10th so assuming rehearsals will start early August

They’re really getting down to the wire with this. Previews are less than two months away.

I can't believe the Shed has announced so little information thus far.

And they will sell every single ticket without any info coming out if they so choose.

The tone of Patti's interview would suggest it's not likely to be her in HERE WE ARE (even though she wants to work downtown), at least based on some of the BWW quotes (haven't listened yet). Would be lovely if they can get someone like Donna Murphy in the Bernadette part. That said, I'm happy for them not to announce any cast if it means less initial demand and that the only people snapping up the first seats the diehard Sondheim fans that are happy for anyone to read his work.

Sounds thrilling to me.

i wish they would at least publish a performance schedule so people coming from out of town can figure out their options before tickets go on sale.

Sorry, couldn't resist the joke.

Hoping for some semblance of information this week on the show. I didn't realize that Joe Mantello is directing - I think he is a genius. Surprising that NO ONE here has any scoop on cast, on-sale, etc....the website still says the show is opening in September. I agree that this will be a hot ticket but 8 weeks out and no word on casting OR ticket sales....

They did announce ticket sales, here’s the info: https://theshed.org/program/301-here-we-are
No cast or dates announced yet. No word on ticket pricing either.

Holy crap getting tickets will be a bloodbath

FINALLY! Also, HOLY HELL! This for sure is gonna sell out fast!

So that throws some cold water in the rumors that Michaela Diamond is being pursued for Cabaret, especially if they see a possibility of transferring.

That is a very solid cast.
I'm guessing Tracie Bennett & David Hyde Pierce are the Peters/Lane roles?
Posted: 7/17/23 at 11:30am
They sort of got me with Rachel Bay Jones.

Amber Gray in a Sondheim musical - there IS justice in the world!!! Simply divine. And I was nervous about getting tickets before. Oy vey.

God, this is a good cast! Wow.
though not a surprise, it’s a relief to see Tunick doing the orchestrations, and Alex Gemignani is the perfect MD.
