Oh come on now. Dislike the moderation all you want, but no one is guaranteed freedom of speech protection on a private company’s message board. If you don’t like what they’re doing, go post whatever you want on reddit or social media.

Empty as in the number of seats or Empty as in having lost part of its soul? If I had any qualms about selling my ticket for the final show, they’ve evaporated now. I have no desire to see this without the dynamic duo."

As in, a few performances and early moments aside,it isn’t a very good show to begin with. The mezzanine was probably 3/4 full, which seemed acceptable for this time of year without boding well for the likelihood of a transfer.

Brightman is excellent. Is he leaving before closing?

As of now, he is not scheduled to leave prior to june 6

It seems odd to me that posts incorrectly referring to a Broadway performer as a criminal, predator, and possible pedophile were up for weeks, but a post simply acknowledging the fact that somebody was fired is immediately removed.

Except the moderators have in the past - repeatedly- used “freedom of speech” to justify not handling members who repeatedly post racially-charged and broadly offensive comments, amongst other things.

I saw someone mention that she deleted most things that have to do with Beetlejuice off of her Instagram. I haven’t really paid attention to what she’s posted there, but when looking at it, you have to go pretty far back to find anything about BJ.
If that’s true, that’s a total red flag that not everything is what it’s being portrayed as.

I've been following her on Instagram for awhile. Haven't been a lot of Beetlejuice posts, but definitely saw vid stories of her on several recent California trips (missing shows) w/photographer friend - plus two weeks ago, an island (Bahamas) vacation with the same special friend plus Mr. Broadway.com.... that was odd.  She went from a stated "Perforning all shows" in her I sta bio to, well, not.. It was clear something was up.

Perhaps California was the aforementioned TV work? There were a lot of Broadway stars In the Bahamas a couple of weeks ago for the Broadway Across America conference. It takes place every 2 years, and always features shows performing for tour presenters, etc. They bring multiple casts down (and own Broadway.com).

When your fellow cast members don't post any "happy trails" on social media, when an original lead leaves, clearly that's telling.

Social media- all social media- is an inherently right-wing phenomenon. And if it doesn’t start that way, it ends up that way.

It'll be interesting to see if Presley Ryan will be Lydia come Tuesday or if they'll have someone new? I mean, unless they already had someone in rehearsals this weekend, I find it hard to believe the new Lydia will be ready by Tuesday.

Still feels like damage control rather than her being sentimental. Also taking into account the fact that she has unfollowed half of the cast on instagram, and some reciprocated.

Something weird definitely happened. 

I saw her the day before she left, and everything seemed normal. Very very weird.
