I'm planning on going to the added matinee tomorrow. What time should I get there to get a decent rush seat?

Is rush 1 or 2 tickets per person?

It's 2 per ID and I heard they don't even check student ID
at least they didn't check it when I say Sweeney there
& it's also a small theater so wherever you sit you won't have a problen seeing
I sat in the front mezz and I was fine for Sweeney.

now that the holiday rush is over, did anyone rush on monday, or today and how was the line?
My boyfriend and his brother went around 11 today and said that they were all sold-out by 10. Not sure what the line was like before that though!
I rushed this morning. I got there around 7:45-8:00 and was third in line. In an hour, the line was pretty damn big. However, they did end up selling 50 student rush tickets. But there were definitely enough people to sell out as soon as they opened the box office.
I rushed on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday I got there around 9:15 and was maybe #30 in line so I got tickets. On Saturday I got there around 8:50 and was maybe #45 in line but I still got tickets. The guy said that saturday was the most crowded that it has ever been.
I was also at rush this morning and it was pretty busy. The end of the line didn't get tickets. Like Taryn said, they sold 50 tickets, and they were all obstructed view. I'm several rows back on the far left side. Are these seats terrible? I have been told they're really bad. Hope to see some of you there!

I did rush yesterday (Sunday) & got there at 8:40. There were about 10-15 people infront of me. By 9:00, there were maybe 10 people inback of me & then by 10:30, there was alteast 50 inback of me. Then by opening @ 12, I don't even know how many but to give an idea: It looped around the box office inside then was still outside. Maybe 100? Not sure- I'm bad with estimating haha.

Yeah, I was there on the line today, one of the first five. Thank god. It was worth it not to be in the bulk of that line! By the time 12pm rolled around, it looked like a high school field trip waiting to get into a show!
Anyone know how many tickets they gave away?

yesterday around 3 i just tried to rush the SA 7pm and the guy said that they sold out in the first 10 minutes that the box office opens; so i went to tarzan for the 6:30 and they did have rush tix but i really didn't want to see it and neither did my 2 parents so we didn't see any show but had a nice brunch at the marriot marquis "view" and went to central park =]
I rushed this morning and there was a surprisingly small number of people. They definitely didn't sell out just with the crowd that was there by 10.
I rushed for the Sunday matinee and was given tickets in the house right box (1) and they were surprisingly excellent seats!
How bad does it get for Saturday nights?

So, I should be very well off with 8:30 for a Sunday Matinee? So, if Im first in line will my seats be good? Any idea?

I'm not 100% sure but what I think they do is give out the further seats 1st like if you're first in line, you'd get row J & then as you go down, you could get row D, C, etc because technically, you have a better view in row J than in row C. I may be wrong but last Sunday, that's how it seemed they did it.
Ex: If you're first in line, you may get row J and the person thats say 10th in line may get row D. People in the 4th row are closer but by the angle & everything, you have the better view.
From what I've experienced, the first people in line get box the box seats. But I guess it depends on the number of tickets you're buying together.

If I got there at 9am tomorrow morning, do I have a good chance at getting seats?
