I've been waiting & watching for when Audience Rewards tickets for past August became available and now they are for up to December 22 BUT ugggggg... they upped the number of points massively to 9000+cash for mid-mezzanine, 12000 +cash (14000 with no cash) for front mezz, & 20000 for orchestra.
Maybe I will be able to use my points for the Met Opera again like I did for my December trip as they asked for less.
I've been watching the seating charts for performances during my trip in November, and suddenly they started to look more & more sold. I was looking at some weekday matinee days so perhaps a bunch of recent group sales? Bit the bullet & went with a less expensive upper mezz ailse seat for a Wednesday matinee. I'm prepared to be surrounded by high schoolers. Looking at reddit today, people are lining up for rush starting at 4am. That's something I'm definitely NOT prepared to do!
Does anyone know how long the original cast are in the show for?
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

I would follow the Broadwaycovers Twitter. Scrolling through their feed, the last time they reported on The Outsiders was July 31. https://twitter.com/broadwaycovers

I don't think that's up to date. I went last week and Sky was out, and anecdotally I've heard he's been out a lot recently.
I went to see the show again on Sunday and Brody was in. Sky Lakota Lynch and Brent Comer were both out - Josh Strobl was on for Johnny and Dan Berry was on for Darrel. There were a couple swings on in the ensemble as well. Josh and Dan were fantastic and Brody did such a beautiful job with the role and I’m so glad to see him after missing him last time.
The best way to keep track of people being in and out is to follow the understudies on Instagram. Josh tends to post when he’s on for Ponyboy and Johnny and I’ve seen Trevor post when he’s been on in the past too.
"Anybody that goes to the theater, I think we’re all misfits, so we ended up on stage or in the audience.” --- Patti LuPone.
I second following the understudies/swings/standbys on socials - but also, Understudies.org is a fantastic new resource. You can set alerts, submit new dates, see who’s going on today, etc!
I saw the show last night and the only person out was Daryl Tofa (Two-Bit) played by Jordan Chin (Swing).
The show was excellent. I took my 23 yr old son who loved it, as well. We watched the movie the night prior as he had no familiarity with the source material.

I love a Thursday matinee!!
I believe this, The Great Gatsby and A Wonderful Life will be the Broadway shows offering Thursday matinees now.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Aw, what a cute totally made up story. This show is crazy expensive but it's in amazing shape and they sound better than ever. I think they will all signed annual contracts so whichever song they'll perform in at the parade will be look and sound great.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The people on Reddit who have been reporting all summer on the rush line seem to know what's been going on there. I just hope people stay safe. For myself I think anywhere I have been in NYC feels safer than the parts of my city that I walk through every day.
