I don't recall seeing someone billed as stand by "at certain performances" before. I wonder which performances.

Saw the show in Boston. Kristin was exceptional. There's a very real possibility that Sherie ends up being better.

OH MY GOD.

As much as I enjoy Kristin as a performer. I really think Sherrie Rene Scott was made for this role and would bring those nuances. In a hindsight look I wish Kristin would have taken Death Becomes Her, left in June, to do the Dolly Musical and come back to Broadway with Dolly in 2026 and have Sherrie Rene opened QoV

...kind of more excited about seeing her than Chenoweth, tbh."
I really disliked the show and the character of Jackie. Unless they rework the entire storyline line, I think it will fail. But Chenoweth could not have been any better. She is the reason there was any enjoyment to be gotten from seeing it. I have no doubt Scott will be terrific also. Hell, she may be in it more than announced if Chenoweth misses one step just one time.
Like many who saw this in Boston, I was not a big fan and was planing on skipping its Broadway run...but there is no way I'm missing Sherie Rene Scott back on Broadway in a musical!
The theater gods have been quite generous this week!
Damn. I wish they had gotten her in a principal status. She’s going to be fantastic in this part, and arguably funnier.

I completely agree. Having her back on Broadway is very exciting and I hope she gets a lot of chances to shine.
Sign me up for Sherri. She’s perfect

Oh yes! I’ve been waiting for her back on Broadway. One of the most underrated of all time. Count me in.

I highly doubt Kristin will be outshined. I went to see Sherrie in little shop and was completely underwhelmed
WHERE ARE THE DISCOUNTS!?!?! Looks like they could use some help selling those tickets.
Sherie was fantastic in Little Shop. She is also a comedic genius and I actually could see her outshining Kristin. Box office is one thing, but the reaction today shows that many theatre people are more excited for Sherie’s return to Broadway than Kristin’s. This became a must see for me after the announcement.

Absolute nonsense. Kristin is the queen

The show will flop either way but excited to see Sherie up on the stage.

That’s how I felt about Maybe Happy Ending. I thought it would be a huge flop. Maybe Michael arden can pull this one off as well

I imagine this will be similar to Donna Murphy’s arrangement during the 2017 Hello, Dolly! revival.

Is Amanda Jane Cooper still with the show? I saw Ryah Nixon joined and she seems like she is the right type to cover Jackie.

Amanda is not with the show anymore.
Does this mean the operatic material was all cut or is Sherie about to break out a legit voice we haven't gotten opportunity to hear before? I'll honestly be sad if they cut it. At this point Cheno is like the only soprano they let be funny while actually singing soprano.

If this show somehow holds on for a while I wonder if Scott filling in will lead to its demise the same way Montego Glover filling in for Audra did.

How about we let the show start performances before we start wondering whether the alternate will cause the show to tank?

We all know the answer to that.
Has a David Siegel standby been announced yet? It was Michael Mulheren last year in Boston.
