When does it close?
Saw it tonight. Really upset. I said my goodbyes though. I will need a while to digest the loss of The Light in the Piazza, my favorite thing I've seen on stage in my short theater going experience.
I think the light went out a little, when Matt Morrison and Kelli O'Hara left the cast.
Lazar is marvelous and Katie has grown on me but I do miss Kelli.
The light has not gone out muscle23ftl, I saw the show twice this past week and it was even better than when I saw the original cast last year. Katie Clarke was the best Clara I have seen (I've seen them all), she acted the hell out of that role and her singing was spot on every night. Please do not judge the current state of the production from the god awful PBS broadcast, it couldn't be more different. I was scared to see the show again after watching Live from LC, but thankfully it was as beautiful as ever. Even Victoria was horribly over acting on the broadcast. If any of you have the chance to go today, do it!!!!
Friday night was the best theatrical experience I have ever had. It topped all the times I've seen it in Chicago and New York.
I'll miss this show greatly But THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA will shine forever

I STILL it'd had a live pony on stage.
So sad it is closing.
I can't believe it's closing. With all the extensions I thought it would last forever. Ah, well. All shows must close. Bye, LitP. Gone, but NEVER forgotten.
I'm going to miss it. Best of luck to the cast and crew. Now I wish I saw it yesterday when it was at TKTS. That or my VCR actually worked when I tried recording it.
Goodbye to this wonderful show! So sad to see it go! Best of luck to everyone involved!
I have my hankie ready...
I love this show. I'm honored to be able to attend the final performance!
it's hard to believe that it's really closing. i wish it could stay open longer. it's so good.
So sad to see it go. But wish the best to the incridble cast and crew. Such a moving show. Without a doubt the most beautiful show that I have ever seen. I watched the Live from Lincoln Center last night and cried. I will miss the show but can't wait to see the tour and am very that it had the success that it did.
I saw the two shows yesterday, and I kept on crying. Vicki Clark was so ON yesterday- for anybody who said Patti was better than Vicki well you should have been there last night. And most of the cast was crying at curtian call. I am so pissed I am not there today, tell me about it.
