I've now tried on the Chrome and BWW apps- neither of which have I ever used to access BWW before- and I am getting the same issue. I can only successfully log into BWW from my desktop instance of Firefox.

I had the same logout problem, then it seemed to be fixed and now it’s happening again. iPad and iPhone safari.
I’m also having the same issues again on Safari, but just on my iPhone, not my iPad
I'm having even worse problems with being logged out, and not being able to log back in. After getting randomly logged out, when I hit "Log In" the first few times, I get a page with the link to "Log Out", but no option to log in -- I have to refresh the page multiple times, or go to the "Log In" link in the menu to actually get the chance to enter my credentials. It's happening on both Chrome and Firefox.
I keep getting logged out like every 7-10 minutes. I’m on mobile and the safari web browser.

I’m wondering if everyone who keeps getting logged out (or can’t access their account at all, like me) is on iPhone and recently updated to iOS 26.1? I’ve been on the beta since September with zero issues, but the second 26.1 went public, I completely lost access to my BWW account. My iPad Pro wasn’t on beta, so I could still log in there… until iPadOS 26.1 updated, and then boom: locked out on that too.
Hey all! Not new here — my first account was from 2005, second from 2011. From 2011 through about 2015/2016, whichever account auto-transferred to my new iPhone is the one I used. Around 2017, I finally settled into FosseTharp and for the last ~5 years I could ONLY log in through the app, never the website. But like clockwork, each new iPhone always brought the BWW login over from iCloud.
My first account (no, I’m not giving the username — it was my old AIM/Xanga/MySpace handle 😂) was tied to a long-dead Hotmail. My second account (FosseTharp) used my old “spam” email, and both had my Columbia.edu address as the recovery email. Yes, I know. Using a school email for recovery was stupid. So now I can’t reset anything because Hotmail and Yahoo might as well be buried next to AIM, MySpace, and Xanga.
So… I gave up on retrieving the account I’ve basically used for a decade and made this new one today. Had to use a “Hide My Email” address because apparently my real primary email is also tied to an account?? News to me, but I see emails from 2015 and 2021, so who knows.
The bright side? I can finally use the website AND the iOS app again. And with iCloud/Sign In With Apple, I won’t lose the login every time I upgrade my phone. Apple doesn’t seem to be going the way of Yahoo and Hotmail anytime soon, so that’s comforting.
Anyway, I mostly lurk, read, and occasionally call out the insufferable trolls. I doubt I would’ve ever hit “Legend” status — maybe “Star” if you combined both old accounts. One was “Leading Actor,” the other “Featured.” But I digress.
I originally made this account hoping Rob or someone could let me know if it’s possible to update the email on FosseTharp… but honestly, it’s fine. Third account in 20 years. Meanwhile, some people juggle dozens of accounts, talk to themselves, and like their own posts. I genuinely don’t understand how they keep track. It sounds exhausting.
So I guess this is my “coming out.” Not a troll, not a shill — just on my third (and hopefully final) account. I’m an industry professional in the regional world and a proud SDC member. I’ll probably hit “Understudy” again around 2028 based on how often I actually post…

The Login button had come back on my Android devices however, when I swipe to go back to the previous page on my Pixel phone, it logs me out.
I've been having the log-out problem, too -- but on an Android. And I remember ya, FosseTharp (always dug the username) -- I'll vouch for ya, you're no CrustyFlash. ;-)
Yeah, I cannot stay logged in on iOS on any browser. Desktop has been fine. I don’t understand why this remains an issue.
After two weeks of having to log in multiple times a day, I now can’t even log in at all on my MacBook… this was has honestly been a really frustrating user experience. The browser and cache clearing is not solving the problem. (Posting this from the mobile app).
I've been experiencing the inexplicable logout issue for several days now, and every time I log back in, that infernal "Topic List" is enabled again and has to be turned off. This is happening on multiple computers and in different browsers, so please stop pushing the delete cookies/cache suggestion, as it's clearly not a panacea for this site's ills.
Trust me, I'm at the top of the frustration list on this one as we play what feels like whack-a-mole between some Apple operating system changes, CloudFlare updates, AWS security updates and improvements to our advertising that have caused this random bug. Yet another new fix has just been pushed out and we're watching it again with the next tech meeting Monday morning.

Just a thought... since the issue appears to be centered around "log-in" behaviors, would it make any difference if that checkbox field on the log-in screen ("save your login information", which appears to be pre-filled with a checkmark) were removed?

Today is the first day in a week I haven't had any problems with getting logged out. Thanks for whatever was done to fix things.
Login has been stable for me for the last couple days, as well.
Now, can you find a way to ensure that BroadwayFlash cannot login, at all, under any name, ever?
My login status has been stable for the last five days or so. For a while there, I couldn't go from one discussion thread to another without getting logged out. I appreciate the ease of navigating the site again - thanks. Now if I can figure out how to make my photo image appear correctly...

Odd: I added a post to the Kyoto thread yesterday. I saw it appear on the top of the message board. Now its gone-and when I search for, and click on, the Kyoto thread, it wont open. I dont even know how a glitch would delete/hide an entire thread?
It actually seems a number of threads have vanished- the Kyoto one, but also the Sweet Smell of Success concert thread, the thread about David Corenswet in Carousel, and a few others.
