The new Young Allie & Noah do not start until 10/7 and Aisha Jackson doesn’t start till 10/22, so its still the original cast. Rush is usually boxes or partial view for $49. I have had amazing luck with that show on TDF. I went last Saturday and had Row L on the aisle in the orchestra.
can someone explain the difference for me between Tdf and Passport? I'd love to join passport, but i don't think I qualify because the arts org i work for is out of the tri-state area. Is that a correct understanding?
Passport is a totally separate thing from regular TDF:
The Broadway Passport Series program began in 2021 thanks to a partnership between New York State, Broadway producers and TDF. It is designed for community and service organizations across the State that serve lower-income residents. Passport organization constituents can join this program for free and purchase $20 and $40 tickets to Broadway shows. In 2023, the program was extended by two years (expected end is December 2025) and expanded to Off-Broadway commercial productions. All organizations that qualify must be approved by the Empire State Development Corporation. Questions? Contact engagement@tdf.org.
Regular TDF tickets cost more and are open to a much much wider range of people (and I believe there is no geographical restriction but don't quote me on that) -- students, educators/school staff, arts workers, nonprofit workers, 30 and under, union members, retirees, individuals on disability, "workers eligible for overtime", veterans, freelancers, and clergy. It's such a vast group of people that they might as well open it up to anyone, especially since the deals aren't that great anymore ($63 for a Broadway show).

Oh Mary is one of the hottest tickets to get right now, so no. Stereophonic’s sales have slowed quite a bit, so I would expect them to start popping up here and there for Wednesday matinees at least, if not Tuesdays and Thursday evenings.
