I'd just like to state that Christine Ebersole is just...unbelievably talented.

I think I'm in love with her.

Great performance.

Wooo!!! I love Christine and that number!

She did sound a little sick, but who cares? Loved it!
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

The Ebersole GG number was lame....

I sure hope the show is better than that! Shouldn't they be making me HAPPY I bought a ticket - not scared!

Ebersole just gave the best performance of the night so far. A big achievement considering that Revolutionary Costume of the Day isn't the best song to sing on television.

And the GREY GARDENS performance came off A LOT better than I thought it would

i would be surprised if GG lasted another full year, even if Christine Ebersole wins the Tony (which she should)

i just went to see GG last Wednesday and Christine and Mary were amazing! don't let the last performance scare you. you'll love the show...it's very moving...and dead on with the Beales

re: The Official TONY Random Comments Thread.

okay, Christine was not the most entertaining performance for me. I say second to last in order of entertaining! I enjoyed Peas in a Pod on Regis and Kelly better. Raul was awesome, Audra was entertaining, and Mary Poppins was simply wonderful!

ujcr... Unless it's Wicked, The Lion King or Jersey Boys ~ or maybe now *ugh* Spring Awakening ~ I don't think there's any guarantees what will be open.
