I really like everything about I, but I wish it was pre filmed to make it 100% perfect!

haterobics, this show is shot on a proscineum stage (which they built) not like Peter Pan or SOM. Problem is the 12 cameras are taking up the space that tha audience would sit in.

I for one am loving it. Thought "Be A Lion" was phenomenal.

Loved Be A Lion! I'm enjoying it overall so far (but I liked the last two years as well).

Ahh, I don't get NBC very well, so I'm waiting until it shows up online later tonight to watch. ![]()

I love David Alan Grier! He is a perfect Cowardly Lion and I hope he is remembered come Emmy time.

I just realized: where the heck is Toto? I thought her dog was supposed to be with her.
Common as the gatekeeper (or Bouncer, as they've made him) is so dry and emotionless. And now we're in this weird Vogue Emerald City. very strange.
Agreed re: David Alan, he's a terrific Lion. I forgot he could sing like that!

I am at the shop with the DVR set has the Throne room happened yet?

It's definitely picking up with this Emerald City sequence. This is way better than Peter Pan.

David Alan Grier is definitely a highlight as the Lion and Be A Lion was great. But so far no one has topped Amber Riley for me yet. So great to hear her real voice not on a Glee recording ... she was fantastic and her acting/comedic timing was on point.

If this shows up online someone please post the link! At this point if it doesn't show up on On Demand I won't see it until Tuesday!

I am enjoying the show so far. By far the best of the NBC live musicals filmed so far.

Where is Toto?!?!?!?
Posted: 12/3/15 at 9:26pm
Gypsy, in the Wiz, Toto never goes to Oz. He welcomes Dorothy back home.

I missed the start, but I feel like this is a lot better than whatever I was expecting.

That's not saying much...Peter Pan was AWFUL. LOLOL
The talent here alone is amazing..

Queen is killing it.

Seems Zadan and Meron learned their lesson have 2 "stars" that couldn't perform. Now they've got a newcomer ( a good one at that) and stacked it with incredible talent.

Queen Latifah is excellent!

Thanks for reminding me! That's right, after Dorothy sings Home she clicks her heels three times and she looks to her right and Toto is standing there and she scoops him up and walks off stage!

David Alan Grier is absolutely fantastic.
Biggest blunder so far for me (and it's a big one) is not having the scarecrow sing "I Was Born On the Day Before Yesterday" which is a million times better than "You Can't Win."

PJ, I very smartly am dvr-ing the Wiz so that I can go back to it after I watch Project Runway!

Wow! Ne-Yo sang such a flawless version of "If I Could Feel"! I am definitely picking up this soundtrack! The musical performances are top notch!
