Les Mis -- 35-ish times (2 in London, a few on tour, the rest in NYC), over 10 years The Seafarer -- 9 times Urinetown -- 5 times Troilus & Cressida (RSC) -- 3 times (which took 3 trips to the UK)
And a few others 3 or 4 times
You don't go to the dragon without a present - Mark Rylance
The most would be A Chorus Line, which I saw 16 times.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...
"Every day has the potential to be the greatest day of your life." - Lin-Manuel Miranda
"And when Idina Menzel is singing, I'm always slightly worried that her teeth are going to jump out of her mouth and chase me." - Schmerg_the_Impaler
I've seen 'Blood Brothers' literally countless times over the years. After that, it gets a little easier to track.
'Wicked' - 5 times. 'Rent' - 4 times (or 3 if we discount 'Rent: Remixed', which we probably should...). 'The Woman in Black' - 3 times (although I'm going again in a couple of weeks). 'Equus' - 3 times. 'Masque of the Red Death' - 3 times. 'Les Miserables' - 3 times. 'Mary Poppins' - 3 times.
This... doesn't feel very representative of my theatre-going habits somehow. I have seen quite a lot of things twice, but I won't be listing those. If I could be bothered though, I feel it would be MUCH truer to my habits than this list here. XD
I saw Wicked and Curtains four each, I think... Three to Legally Blonde and Gypsy, and only one or two to the others.
Grown-ups never understand anything for themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.
Antoine de Saint-Exupery, "The Little Prince", 1943
I have seen Rent 31 times. It is not a fact I am proud of. But, since I am someone who isn't afraid to own up to passed actions I don't deny it.
I have seen the revival of Les Miserables 15 times and I have seen Phantom (Broadway) 9 times.
"If you try to shag my husband while I am still alive, I will shove the art of motorcycle maintenance up your rancid little Cu**. That's a good dear"
Tom Stoppard's Rock N Roll
Les Mis- 8 RENT- 6 (if you include remixed x2..which i wish i didn't] Avenue Q and Wicked- 5
"I trained as a classical actor at Juilliard. I jump at the opportunity to do classical text...But I never in a million years guessed I'd get to play Juliet!"- Michael Arden
ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY: 8 times (1x with Madeline Kahn, 7x w/Judy Kaye)
SWEENEY TODD (Original production): 8 times (6x w/Lansbury & Cariou, 2x with Loudon & Hearn)
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
My worst is Les Miserables - 43 times. Yipes. That counts the original NY production, that revival thing, and national tours.
Granted I started in 1988, and one time I ushered a 2 week tour stop (that's 16 shows or so in a go) - admittedly most of the damage happened when Alice Ripley was in NY as Fantine - back then they had 15 dollar tickets - I saw it three times in a weekend once with her. That's a lot of barricade.
I'll never be able to beat that, even thinking about seeing another show that many times makes me feel weird. And its really spread out.
Now what would you say if today I started over?
Without a thing but this taped together four leaf clover
And I'll pretend like everything is already alright
And I'll run toward the sun till the castle's out of sight
Winston...why say you're not proud of the fact that you saw Rent that many times? There's surely a reason why we keep going back to see things numerous times...it's like me seeing Cry-Baby 6 times for goodness sakes. I know most people hated it...but I had fun, so I kept going back for more.
