So there has been a lot of talk about leading actress but not as much for featured.
Linda Emond, Lachanze and Lena Hall will probably get nominated for their awesome performances
Linda puts the whole Kit Kat Klub in tears during act 2 of Cabaret
I hope these next actors get some recognition at the Tonys this year...
Gayle Rankin- Cabaret (you really feel her desperation and she has a great voice!)
Ciara Renee- Big Fish (Though it wasn't a big role)
Cass Morgan- The Bridges of Madison County

Tonys. Not Tony's.
I'd be shocked if Ciara got nominated for Big Fish. It was a one scene role with a song that I feel was one of the weakest in the score.
I would be happy to see Linda Emond win. But she was snubbed by OCC and Drama Desk, so it won't surprise me if she is snubbed by the Tonys again.
Gayle Rankin did a great job, however, I still don't think Brantley's review alone could make any difference.

I'd be thrilled (and am expecting) Adriane Lenox to be nominated for her performance in After Midnight. Her two songs truly steal the show!
I'm looking forward to hearing Adriane Lenox and Cass Morgan's names on Tuesday.
And a win for Lenox!
Anika Larson
Based on reviews and reactions here and on other websites, I'd say Lena Hall will get it.
Lena Hall! Annie Golden!

Lena Hall or Annie Golden over Linda Emond.

right now I think the nominees should/will be
01.Marin Mazzie as Helen Sinclair in Bullets over Broadway
02.Annie Golden as The Old Lady / Hotel Hooker in Violet
93.Helene Yorke as Olive Neal in Bullets Over Broadway
04.Margo Seibert as Adrian Pennino in Rocky
05.Anika Larsen as Cynthia Weil in Beautiful
.
Linda Emond, Adriane Lenox, and Lena Hall are all good options also but seem to not have full support

Hey, Stevie. You DO realize this is the "Featured" category, right?
Your post is not only obnoxious, it's wrong. You're talking about a totally different category.
If you're going to sass, make sure you know what you're talking about.
PS. I hope Kelli is nominated too. But in the Best Actress In a MUsical Category.
I thought Helen Yorke brought nothing new to a cliched performance and her chance for a nod went down when Mazzie was deemed eligible in this category. But what do I know?
I've read very little about Annie Golden in this show, but she usually is flawless. Is there really "buzz" for her performance?
I'm rooting for Kate Baldwin to be nominated even though she probably won't be.
I think Lena Hall is going to win-she's giving a star making performance and is absolutely incredible.
Nominees:
Fantasia Barrino
Lena Hall
Anika Larsen
Adriane Lenox
Marin Mazzie
It's interesting to see the support for Annie Golden (I agree that she's spectacular). I just don't know that I can see it happening, though. There are so many "larger" performances. Then again...Elizabeth A. Davis only had a handful of lines.
Keeping in mind that I haven't seen Beautiful, my wish list is Barrino, Lennox, Seibert, Hall, Keala Settle (she's getting NO love, but I'd love to see it happen).
My guess as to who gets it? In descending order of confidence: Mazzie, Larsen, Hall, Seibert, Emond.
Margo Seibert
Marin Mazzie
Linda Emond
Cass Morgan
Adriane Lennox
I'm predicting:
Linda Emond, CABARET
Lena Hall, HEDWIG
Anika Larsen, BEAUTIFUL
Adriane Lennox, AFTER MIDNIGHT
Cass Morgan, BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY or Margo Seibert for ROCKY
I really don't see any reason to nominate the BULLETS ladies, Yorke is doing a Jennifer Tilly impression and Mazzie is lost at sea in a role that needed a star (it wouldn't have if the writing was any good). I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them get in tomorrow, but I hope they consider some of the more interesting work from the other actors.

Wouldn't be surprised if Cass Morgan takes one of their places. I really don't see Lena Hall getting nominated. As much love as there has been for her on this board (and as great as she is), she hasn't received any other nominations and really wasn't singled out in many (if any) of the reviews. But who knows.
Linda Emond didn't score a single nod in the pre-Tonys, either. (Lena Hall did get short listed for the Drama League, BTW.)
Hedwig is doing really well and she's giving an amazing performance. I think she's got a better shot than Linda Emond (who underwhelmed me).

You're right about Emond. I nearly left her off in favor of Cass Morgan or Helene York. Hall very well may get a nod, just a gut feeling says she doesn't.
But then again, this almost feels like a year where there will be at least 2 or 3 names that come completely out of nowhere and this seems like the category it may happen in.
I still think Hall is going to get a nod. (And it's not unlikely she'll win. She is very good, indeed.) I think it's between her and the 2 ladies from After Midnight.
